Re: Pokemon - Platinum Version

^Interesting idea, but it might be a bit complicated. Anyway I liked the Sinnoh Unerground (but not the Sinnoh Secret bases) becuase you could get good items, from it. I mean the idea of getting as many fossils and stones as you want is plain awesome. Also you need it to get Spiritomb which is a pain if you don't happen to have 32 friends that are pokemon fans so Wi-Fi capabilities sounds good as long as they can find a server that can handle it.

Re: Pokemon - Platinum Version

I liked the Underground. I went under there and dug to my heart's content whenever I needed a break from battling. Once I've dug up enough evolution stones, fossils, spheres, etc., I go back up and battle some more. I like it because it's a good place to go when you need a break from Pokemon training.

I'd like them to expand it more in Platinum. No, not in size, but in detail. I'd like more things to do other than build bases, trade spheres, and dig. Digging is fun, because it makes me wonder what I'll find, but still.

Re: Pokemon - Platinum Version

Same here; the Underground is great to find certain things (I have, like, 20 water stones and heart scales...), but if it was expanded in detail like you guys mentioned, it'd be awesome. And since we hear that they're adding Wi-Fi... bonus! (I would also personally like to be able to sell spheres. Please?! I got a million 99s!)

Well, you gotta admit, us Europeans (and Australians) do often get shafted. We missed out on three great SNES RPGs: EarthBound, Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger. And probably more as well. It also took several years for us to get Animal Crossing and a long time to get Super Paper Mario. And, Brawl is one of the worst cases yet, since it doesn't come out until JUNE here. =/

Sorry, but we moved on.
This is the Pokemon Platinum thread.
There's another thread for that stuff.

Yes, that and the fact that I know you Europeans get ditched a lot. It makes me sad because everybody deserves good games at the right times. Brawl and Platinum should be no exception.

Re: Pokemon - Platinum Version

I've never been on Online Underground.

I'm terrible at collecting 4 or more stones in one wall.

I suck.

Re: Pokemon - Platinum Version

I once found three items in one digging. None were spheres. I forget what they were, however I remember one was an evolution stone.

Well, maybe Nintendo will learn the importance of simultaneous release dates one day, lol.

As for Platinum, I'll probably get it when I have some free money. I have some other things I want to get first though, like GTA IV and COD 4.

Re: Pokemon - Platinum Version

I did not like the underground. I'm not saying it was a bad idea, but it was poorly executed. I much prefered the above-ground bases from the Third Generation. They were actually fun. The underground based were a pain, because you had to run around a HUMOUNGOUS underworld that was like a maze, and in order to buy stuff, not only was it really hard to find enough stones, but then I had to seek out the impossible-to-find miner guys, just to find out that I either couldn't afford anything good, or that there was nothing good there I didn't already have.

I would have liked the Underground more if you could move a lot faster.

I rage when the wall collapses on me when I'm hunting a fossil.

Same here. There's some games I'd like to get first myself. I'd like to get New Super Mario Bros. and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and/or Superstar Saga. I don't have enough Mario handhelds. I only have one...SM64 DS.

But I can guarantee you I'm buying Platinum. It'll further complete my handheld Pokemon collection which consists of Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, and Pearl. :]
