Help Which Final Fantasy should I play? help me out!

Ive got all of them up to #IX please im really bored and i wanna get back into them thanks

Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, or Final Fantasy IX

X or XII or your only options if you have all the others.

I'd go with XII, personally.

Final Fantasy VII is probably the best one ever made and I reckon you should choose that game. It has a gripping story which gets you really engrossed into the action plus I think it's quite emotional too.

More like a fun way to spend a decade playing all these games. It would take ages!

It would be worth it though...

Untill you get the fear of going outside incase of random battles, and you go around waltzing into peoples houses making idle banter with the residents

Play VI, the greatest Final Fantasy ever made. Or just Tactics: War Of The Lions.

Have you actually already played them all, or are you playing them for the first time?

I recommend: VI (highly), VII (highly), VIII, X, XII (not as highly).

ive played them all up to XII but i dont own X X-2 XI XII

I'll recommend VIII, but I've never actually played it myself, and I've only seen parts of it being played. I say go with Final Fantasy IV or VI.

You forgot the part where anything he finds that isn't nailed down is his to keep, and any guards/police that come after him are obviously evil and must be killed.

If you just want a time-filler, go play IX - that's the best one. If you really want to get into things, go for lavvy's suggestion (which I might have to do sometime...).

I'd go with Nine.

Start at I and work up to IX. It'll take a long time, but you'll enjoy the evolution of the series. Plus, the first few have a tendency to go by rather quickly, so that will make up for the generally shallow storylines.

IV is my favourite.

Demonstrates the transition from the NES era to the SNES era with great grandure. Hell, just wait for the DS remake and play that =)

Otherwise, grab X and XII and play those, as they are quite solid.

IV's my favorite Final Fantasy game, so I highly recommend you go and play that one. Or, like Yami said, wait until the remake this summer. Though other Final Fantasies I would highly recommend are VII, VIII, and X. Steer away from XII, as it's pretty much bland, boring garbage. And I still haven't played IX yet, so I'll eventually borrow it from my friend.

But play XII for it's awesome battle system and gorgeous graphics. That is all.

Final Fantasy X is my personal favorite. I'd say go with that one.
