Heh, I'm the same way, but with Luigi. I don't know why exactly, but when I got him unlocked in Melee, I started kicking way more butt with him than I had with Link (who I used a lot before) and then that process repeated in Brawl. Luigi plays a bit differently though, yet I still got good with him.

Now, I never use Link. I'd rather use Ike or Lucario before choosing him if I had to pick someone other than Luigi. That's why if I had one of those Brawl sigs from the generator, Luigi would be the favorite, followed by Ike and then Lucario. Ike plain rocks, and Lucario is one of the coolest Pokemon ever, plus those aura powers are win. :3

I agree, I used Ike & Lucario, the're both awsome.
I like Lucario's aura powers, & I like his meteor smash as u can use it in quick sucsession.
Ike's just plain strong.

But yea, Ganondorf is #1 choice for me.
Today was my first time playing brawl, the first match & I won, it made me feel good

Obviously, Luigi is my #1 choice, but simply because I've done much better with him in both Melee and Brawl than with anybody else, and I've used a number of characters besides him including Link, Ike, Lucario, Marth, Mario, and possibly others that I'm not thinking of at the moment. Though Mario is a bit similar to Luigi in Brawl and was even more similar in Melee, I never did nearly as well with him.

I could probably get good with other characters besides Luigi, but not to the same extent. Luigi, I got the hang of him fast. Everybody else was another story.

Maybe you try more with Luigi because you like him, and want him to be your main?

Well, Ganondorf just makes it 2 my #1 choice, I rocked with Pikachu in melee & used him as a main character.

I also use Link & Samus a fair amount of times, & I've just recently got into using Ness

Ganondorf's just a big powerhouse, so he's handy in tough matches...

I've never been good with the fast characters. They're, well...too fast.

No, Luigi is my favorite Mario character, but that has absolutely nothing to do with why I chose to use him in Brawl. I play as him because I was a good Luigi player in Melee.

I don't like fast characters that much either. Today, one of my friends went Sonic. He got the smash ball too much...
But hey, there's nothing more rewarding than pulling off ur first final smashes

I alway's main the character I like the best, not one I'm good with.
