F-Zero Wii

That would be sweet if nintendo made a new F-Zero for the Wii. What do you guys think?

I am desperately waiting for some confirmation of F-Zero on Wii, either made by Nintendo or again by Sega. I'd love to play F-Zero online.

Only F-Zero GX and F-Zero AX (arcade) so far, but I think they did a great job with them.

Yeah AX was to me the best so far. The controls on the arcade rock you actually feel like your in the game

F-Zero would be an excellent idea. Like the GC version but with the Wii Mario Kart wheel.

I think F-Zero GX is the best racer there is, so any info on a possible F-Zero game on the Wii would be most welcome.

Amusement Vision really did a fantastic job with GX.

But unfortunately they didn't do a good job with that in GX.

The best racing game is Kirby Air Ride, which would be GREAT with Wii controls. If anything needs a sequel for the Wii, it's that.

Yes, that should definitely have a sequel. The multi player was effing awesome in that game, my friends and I played it a lot.
Sadly, I have yet to play an F-Zero game...

You know for a really farfetched game... F-Zero isn't that bad... I probably wouldn't buy it, but I would deffinitely rent it... (unless IGN gave it like a 8.5 or above)

Your forgetting F zero X for N64 as well as the original. There was also think there was a f zero for GBA too. Anyway, I can't wait for a Wii zero and wii star fox.

What about the good old Super Nintendo version which started the series in the first place? It was still a good game.

No no no, I meant that Sega only worked on those two titles in the series! I would never forget about F-Zero X, it's one of my favorite games ever. I also own the Snes game, along with both GBA titles. F-Zero GP Legend was far better than Maximum Velocity, with it's excellent story mode (which ties in with the japanese show, too).

As a side note, I don't think the Wii wheel would be suited for F-Zero. I remember trying to play GX with a gamecube wheel, and it was ridiculously hard.

The music from F-Zero is some of my favorite video game music. Big Blue and Mute City are classic in all their renditions. Some of the new versions featured on Brawl are fantastic, too.

I concur.

There's no possible way to make that work. GX was incredibly fast and if they do make an F-Zero game for the Wii, they sure as hell ain't gonna make it any slower.

I wouldn't use the wheel anyway. Doesn't the handle of an F Zero racer look U shaped sort of like an Airplane? If thats the case just use the Wii mote without the nunchuck.

Please read the letters in bold.

Anyway, The only problem with it being on the wii is that I think that F-Zero is too fast for the Excite Truck style controls. I don't see how the Wii controls would work; you'd need the GC.
