Brawl: How do you play it?

I thought it'd be interesting to know which method of playing Brawl was most common here on ZU. Which do you generally use to play the game, Wiimote, Wiimote + Nunchuck, classic controller, or GC controller?

I stick with the classic controller and it's what I used the first time I played the game. I really like it, and I thought about trying out the Wiimote and Nunchuck, but when I held them while imagining myself playing, I could not see myself getting the hang of it. So, I use the classic controller, and I stick with it. My brother prefers the GC controller, though...

Gamecube Wavebird controller. I haven't even attempted playing the game with the Wii remote, or the Classic contoller, for that matter.

I still love the Gamecube controller.

Wiimote and nunchuk. I reluctantly switched from Gamecube controller when the gaming society outlawed them to give everyone else a fair chance against me.

I use the Gamecube Controller, it just feels natural. But I also changed the Wii wiimote and the nun chuck so it feels more natural

well i dont have it yet reluctantly but i plan to use Wii+nunchuckerz...dunno, mix of Wiimote and GC controller prolly.

Wiimote. My thumb hurts after a while though.

Same, Wiimote, if I get tired with the GC controller.
But .... the D-pad is not really made for smash, I have hard time going through floors.

I can see why you guys like it though. It's a cool controller. The classic controller is a lot like it though. It wouldn't be hard for a GC controller user to use a classic controller for awhile.

I have to try the classic controller when I'll have a chance.

One of the reason why people choose GC controllers are, obviously, because they're used to it if they've played Melee before...

Yeah, that's true. I don't know why I started out with the classic controller. Probably because I had to get used to it anyway. For awhile, I didn't have a GC controller lying around in my room. My brother had both of ours at my aunt's house. Now I have one of them, though, for when I play the GC games I've got with me. I'm too used to the classic controller to switch now. Besides, I like it better. The GC controller is still cool, though.

I don't have Brawl yet but I will most like just use the GC one, It has gone through many years of Melee and I think it has enough in it to go through a long Life span in Brawl. Long Live the GC controller!

The GC Controller is inevitable in this poll.

If you were to think, Brawl is Melee, except polished and advanced through controls and graphics. We built our mad skillz with the GC Controller so much, it makes it difficult to change our style of button mashing. =/

Wiimote and GC controller. Mostly Wiimote.

Gamecube controller. It's the best. That's it. Plus there's wavebouncing.
Fun to mess around with, and actually use. The GCN controller seems like it was made for the smash games..

I prefer the Wiimote + Nunchuck.

Even though I'm bad at Brawl, I was also bad at Melee. So using the gamecube controller wouldn't help me. I'm decent at Brawl now with the Wiimote + Nunchuck, struggling against many people online. I tried the other controllers, but they didn't help. ^_^;

How do I play it? I don't. I haven't played Brawl in well over a month.
