Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii)

I know this vid isn't exactly Wii, but I think they showcased that one the most, and I am really looking forward to playing it; whether it's rent or buy.

I personally think the DS version looks like crap... same thing goes for PS2 and PSP versions.
I know the graphics won't be as good as PS3 or Xbox 360, but they could have done better. TP looks better than this game. I hope in the few months to came before release they atleast put some smoother models, better lighting, and reflections into it. But I am glad there giving it some exclusives. Makes it way more worth to buy than just getting motion controls... that could be so awesome.

I truly hope that over the next five months, the development studios work out these technical issues for the Wii, 360 and PS3 verisons. Wii's graphics are virtually no different from the PS2's, and so far the screens out of the Duel Mode look even worse. Meanwhile the PS3 and 360 continue to show gameplay that is slow as hell. It's not a lag or anything; the action just crawls.

Seriously, if these end up being the major flaws of the game, I'm gonna be pissed.

I think it's really coming along well.

Personally, I'm getting the PS3 and Wii versions.

How fast paced do you want the game to be? Something along the lines of Viewtiful Joe?

I really don't like how the Apprentice holds his lightsaber. It looks really stupid, and if you have ever tried to wield a sword, stick, or plastic lightsaber like that, you'd probably find it really awkward. I know I do. You could say "he has been trained to do that," but still, it'll never be as good as normally holding a sword.

Well, as for the grafics, it is a trailer. The game probably wont be out till 09 which gives them plenty of time to render them better.


I hope they allow cutom lightsabers. I pretty much fell in love with the double blade since KOTOR.

I can't decide weather to get the 360 or Wii version.

The game will be better on 360/PS3, like every other multi-platform game. So glad I got a 360, I'm looking forward to this game.

Yeah, September 16th in the US.

...He's been trained to do that, so it's okay. Lawl. Actually, a lot of swordsmen use the reverse grip, but mostly for shorter, lighter swords, and usually paired with another shorter sword or a medium sized one. You wont see someone holding a longer sword like that too often, though.

No, something reasonable in the action/adventure genre, like God of War.

I mean, especially (though not limited to) when the Apprentice starts using his force powers and some of the more intricate lightsabre combos, everything just moves like a slug.

I hope that the duel mode in the Wii version can be done with bots as well as multiplayer. I really like the duel stages (maping the saber to the right thumb stick was a brilliant idea) in Star Wars Obi Wan and I can't wait to try motion controled ones.

It did that originaly on Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I haven't played Obi-Wan though.

Looks good. I really want to see how this game actually does. I'm gonna watch it come out, check a few reviews, and if it does well, buy it. (Wii version all the way)

Well I for one am getting the PS3 version. As usual the Wii version has been given to some outside company while lucasarts and such put all their efforts into the 360/PS3 versions.

It's a must-get in my book. ^_^

Reminds me a lot of Shadows of the Empire.

I love Krome Studios, so it's not a problem for me.

And anyways, they keep emphasizing the fact that it shouldn't matter which console you play it on, and that each one will be unique in their own rights.

I'm more excited about this game!


No, I'm realy excited about the game, only really mad it doesn't have a PC release..

It looks good, I will probably get the Wii version.

Wii version seems to be the most fun right now. It comes out a month before my birthday, so I'll ask my parents to get it as a gift.

Wow, glad u put that up. I can see that the graphics really aren't as bad as I thought they we're gonna be... Now I'm more hyped for this.
