Single Player or Multyplayer?

When you play video games, are you anti-social and play games like Metroid? Or are you the partier who plays Brawl with his friends?

Personally, I like an equal mix of both. I'm re-playing Metroid Prime and also playing Brawl + Warhawk with my friends.

Most of the time I play by myself. But I play with my friends every once in a while with brawl. My friends aren't really gamers though.

I play both. Though sometimes I hate playing Brawl with my brother because he can get annoying, but it's also fun sometimes. I play alone when he's not around, though. Same with other games that can have two people play. We even did the co-star mode on SMG.

I'd play multiplayer Call Of Duty over single player Metroid any day.

I would usually too, but I don't own any next-gen systems so I have to go to my friend's houses. Oh yeah, I'm a freeloader.

I really love going through a story in a game; trying to unlock everything...
But online can be a lot of fun to..

Multi-player. Playing with a living, breathing person right next to me.

I won't settle for that "online" crap.

Normally I play alone, but I play with other people whenever I have the chance, my friends are all gamers, though there are like 3 gamers counting me in my family...

Whats wrong with online multiplayer?

They're both good but they're very different. Playing multiplayer is a social experience inside of the game, which is great. While with single player, you get to play the experience of being on some type of adventure or quest where there's a specific goal you must accomplish. I really can't choose one over another even though single player experiences make me appreciate (or not) games more.

I play both.
But just to make things clear, I dont think people who play games like Metroid are "anti-social."

Multiplayer is WAY more fun.

Always.

Either one works for me. It really does depend on my mood.

Sometimes, I'll just feel like playing a quiet, solo game; somedays, I feel like a bunch of guys screaming curse words, and beating each other up for no good reason on Multi-Player.

I only play multiplayer these days. Melon Racing isn't the same offline.

Online is fine, but can't be compared to a living person right next to you. Voice chat just doesn't cut it, either. I also don't like people talking crap without me being able to smack them upside the head.
