HG Reviews Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Heretic-Gamer, as some of you might know, is a rising gaming website started by three guys from Wisconsin who originally hail from ZU. We grow steadily, and recently, we are taking action to get noticed. Video reviews, Sunday updates, artcles, a podcast is in the works, and we also have a great community. I've done a video review of Smash Bros. Brawl for HG, and I have gotten only compliments so far.

Excellent review, Earth. It's well-done in all aspects; video, sound, and content. You also have the bonus of having a voice that doesn't grind the nerves. I was both taken aback and impressed.

The only worthwhile criticism I can think of is that the video is way too long. Not even a game as robust as Brawl needs over twenty minutes to be properly reviewed.

I'm also not very fond of the "out of ten" rating system - it's redundant and confusing, especially if you add decimals - and have always preferred it when critics rate things "out of five". However, this is my personal opinion, so I wouldn't hold it against you. Take it as a nitpick at best.

Overall, that was true quality. You've just made a fan.

Thank you, man. Especially on the comment about my voice. One guy said I had a boring voice, and I still don't see where he's coming from. Oh, and about it being too long, don't worry. That is the LAST time I tackle something that large. It took ages to edit. I'm looking at you, Part TWO! *kills pt. two* But, it was in-depth, and that's not a lie.

More videos will come, my next one will be retro, and will kick off HG'S Retro Review series. It'll be shorter, too. Don't woory.

I guess it was a better idea to start a thread. Nobody seemed to have paid attention to my posts in both the Brawl thread and the Youtube thread. *shrug*
