Super Smash DS

Reformat original Supersmash bros. for the DS, God idea, or not? i think the graphics are on par, 64 and DS, They could make loads of money and we could have loads of fun,.

I like the idea, actually! And then you could play against others via Nintendo WiFi!

An N64 game that would really benefit from a DS port, if only for use on WiFi.

I'd certainly support a rerelease if online is included.

I hope it doesn't come, smash is reallly a console game, and I hope it stay's that way, and the controls would really suck, I rather have a n64 controller

If Brawl can be played with the Classic controller, I have faith that this can easily be pulled off for DS controls.

Nice idea, except it shouldn't be an older game like that. It should be a newer one like Brawl, but not the same game. Just Super Smash Bros DS in Brawl's good graphics and stuff, though not necessarily the same modes and all.

I don't know about that, but yeah, doing the different modes DS style would be cool. The top screen could serve as the game screen and the touch screen can show percent damage, lives, and stuff.

I say it's just a matter of time. They already have a similar game with Anime characters, so I don't see why they couldn't continue the series with regular characters.

The only question is; will it be 3D or 2D? Of course everybody would love it to be in 3D, but with a game that has soo much action taken place, it may slow things down. Or maybe it could be a combination of both (3D characters on 2D platforms).

BGS - The DS is more powerful than the 64. If the 64 can churn out a game like Super Smash Bros, there shouldn't be a problem with the DS doing the same.

i doubt it would slow it down much, it IS the DS

i've never been a huge fan of the series, just because it seems like button bashing
and more of a multiplayer game. i had SSB, but blah, button smashing

anyway, on DS, for the amount of action, i think it would be too much
for such a tiny screen to play on. and the only DS stylus being used
would be like, for navigation through menus and whatever.
might as well make it a GBA game, lol.
