wow, final fantasy 6 was good!

I just beat final fantasy 6 last night, Slayed the heck out of kefka. The ending was great, and the CG cutscene ending was cool too. I must say, final fantasy 6 was quite a game. I think it's funny how everyone gives ff7 such boasts as the best game or best RPG of all time. I think ff6 had better story and more interesting characters. not to mention you could play with a party of 4 instead of 3. I have the psone remake with all the bonus stuff that I plan to look at today. has this game been forgotten by the gaming comunity? why has everyone always raved about ff7, but ff6 was left in it's shadow?

The only reason more people rant and rave about FFVII is because it was generally the first JRPG most people in the west played. It doesn't hold a candle to FFIV or FFVI really : \.

they're not that bad. It's a little slow, but only a little bit more than the origanel. I don't mind. I don't have a snes so psone version was pretty much my only option anyways.

I can certainly say hat out of the FF games I have played, FFVI is by far my favourit. Almost everything was perfect.
The character development and the story were so good!! I mean compared to this gem newer FF games feel like a shallow pice of crap that tries too hard to be epic.(the recent FF are still good games, but I think they can in no way compare to FFVI)
Imo the series went downward after FFVII (which was only a bit weaker then FFVI), FFVIII is where the games started to feel fake to me. The charcters went flat and cliched; some part of the story were good but...oh well I guess you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.

FF 6 is the best FF game that I have played, And it had the best story line of any game I played too. I fell in love with the characters, felt their Joy, and their sadness, when they cried, I cried.

The game had a wonderful sound tract for its time and I loved the Cut scenes the PS verson had. Aria di Mezzo Carattere (Celes theme) is my favorite VG song.

I like both 6 and 7 idk which one is better so dont ask me
