Missingno. and Pokemon glitches!!!!

What is Glitch City? A hidden city that the devs put in while thinking up the first generation games, but decided to take out for whatever reason? Except they didn't completely remove it, so it's still possible to get in some way?

its just crazy signs and walls all chopped up in random places,

I loved the big pokemon you got on that surf bit, In my game it was Snorlax, Blastoise and... Trying to remember, Pigeot I think.

I also caught a level 7 Mew in Cerulian city

I remember stumbling upon Missingno myself before ever having internet access to hear about it. When I noticed what it did to my items I thought I was asleep and having a dream or something!

Heh, Red and Blue were the good old days. I remember I caught Mewtwo without using a Master Ball just to prove to my friends that it was possible. Took me about 10 tries since he kept on using Amnesia and would wipe out my team, but once I got him with an ultra ball the bragging rights were sweet, sweet, sweet.

Not sure what there is to brag about if you managed to catch a Mewtwo without the master ball back then. It's not like there was a harder to catch pokemon in the game to use that ball on. With the remakes, you can catch the legendary dogs, though.

I still used the MB during my playthrough, since I can get the dogs easier in Collusseum.

Daphnes, "glitch city" is a trick you can do in a couple different ways. Basically you do the Safari Zone Glitch [where you can leave the Safari Zone, and after 500 steps it warps you back] and then you fight MissingNo or surf in certain places [off the coast of Cinnibar and Seafoam and a few others] and when you're 500 steps run out....you appear in glitch city. not exactly sure how it works, but the whole screen is just random tiles all thrown together.

Blizzaga that's a translatin error, the smae thing happens when you trade a Raichu. Also, you guys suck at pokemon. Me being a Pokenerd, I could wipe out all of your teams with 1 pokemon...no joke...Now, the only thing I noticed in here that didn't make me mad was whatshisface said Zapdos is the best legendary bird. Zapdos is one of the best pokemon period if you spend the hours and hours and hours I spent on it.

I used to spend a lot of time on a Pokemon forum so I know about EV/IV training pokemon and all that stuff, I just don't really get into it that much.
And if you were really that good at pokemon, you wouldn't use Zapdos as all good fighters ban legendaries/ubers from battle.

I skimmed over a competetive battleing guide, and didn't think that any nonlegendaries would be banned. Ok, there are some super pokes out there that are breedable, but why ban them?

Not that it matter much to me. Even though I started work recently to build up a team, I don't think I'll be battling online much. Just experimenting with pokemon, and fighting in the 3D games. I've got Colluseum and XD. I also plan on getting Battle Revolution eventually.

And I believe I'm the what's-his-face that said Zapdos is the best legendary bird.

I have a question. Can you use Mew in Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2? Poke Cup? And the other ones? (Besides Prime Cup, already beaten in both games R2)
If so, I'm TOTALLY getting one.

We are both the what's-his-faces

and it depends on the competition. I've seen Wobufett and one or two other non-legendaries that are banned in some fights

Blastoise, weak to Zapdos, Pigeot weak to Zapdos, Venasuar is slow and has bad accuracy, on my zapdos, that's very bad for you, Zapdos mine's better, trust me, also, he's weak to himself, Charizard, weak to zapdos, Mew my favorite pokemon, but he's bad, articuno, weak to zapdos
Feraligator is weak to zapdos, Tyranitar is an uber that my zapdos is trained against, Lugia is weak to zapdos, Houndoom is bad, Suicune is weak to Zapdos, Celebi sucks.
I won both battles. Trust me. And even if you were lucky enough to beat my Zapdos, I have 5 other pokes that are trained practically perfectly.

I don't use Zapdos on actual fights and no, not all legendaries are banned, ubers are banned, which is different. Tyranitar is uber, yet he's not legendary, often ties he's banned. Zapdos isn't uber, I just found a loophole.

I know this topic is a bit old, but I have a little question that may not be worth a new thread.

I play pokemon, and sometimes check base stats. So the question is, how do you grade base stats for a pokemon.

For instance:

below 50= poor
50-100= good
100-150=great
over 150= superb

That's how I feel about stats. This is for all stats, and mostly refers to evolved pokemon. Unevolved don't really count as much in my opinion.

I think it just has to do with the pokemon you are using so I don't know.

But if you ever try to Battle with lv 47Kyorge agaisnt a lv 100 Ryquaza the kyorge will alwasys win also have you ever gotten either to lv 100 i have its intense when they fight.

Actually, higher levels ususally win out over type disadvantages. Rayquaza just needs a move like thunder or something.
