wii error when installing internet.

first: i don't know if i needed to put this in here or in the tech forum.

second: i have had several errors when trying to install internet on the wii. I have the IP adress installed correctly and i have the WEP code, but it just won't let me install it. if anybody knows what i need to do, please tell me.

Well... what sort of error code do you get? Look it up in the wii manual, to begin with. If you have all the correct settings for you connection, select it and test connection. It could be your distance to the router or something as well. See if you can post some images of what's wrong, or an image of your settings, so that we can see exactly where the error is.

• Can you get on the Wii Shop Channel?
• Do you have enough Wii Points?
• Is it a problem while downloading (when mario is hitting the bricks)?

i have error code 52130 it does not stand in the manual, nor in the support.nintendo.com site

^ I think that's one of the codes I get sometimes when our router screws up. Then we just unplug it and then plug it in a couple of minutes later, but I can't guarantee it'll work.

Another thing that's weird... which doesn't necessarily apply to you, but... Our internet supplier only allows five connections at a time. Which means we can only connect 5 devices. We have 4 computers, a wii and a ds. My own computer was connected to both the wired and wireless network, taking up two slots. So we had to fix my computer, and then I'll just have to make sure I don't play DS online if everyone else are on their computers.
