Shyguys And Antiguys (Mario series)

Ok, so what are shyguys really? All I really know is that they are characters dressed in all kinds of colors who work for Bowser. Im preety sure the white parts of thier faces are masks, they are one of the many different kinds of minions who work for Boswer. (I know I said that they worked for Bowser 3 times already).
Any other info for excample when they were introduced, ect would be great.

I would also like to know alittle more about antiguy(s). What I know so far is that they also work for Bowser and I think are stronger then normal shyguys. They wear gray/black, and are usually meaner in my option to Mario then normal shyguys. More info about these creatures would also help.

The faces of shy guys have never been seen. Except Luigi saw a shy guy's face once, and he didn't like it. So they have a reason to wear masks, it seems

I love shy guys, they're my favourite Mario enemy, besides Goombas. I can't decide which one is more awesome.

I love Shy Guys! Their leader (General Guy) is one of my favourite bosses in the entire Mario series.

They generally run around causing trouble, and hide their faces by wearing masks. They also appear a lot in the Yoshi's Island games, apparantly.

Anti-Guys are just tougher Shy Guys. Although having to fight 3 at once in Paper Mario could be a bit of a pain.
