anyone *still* play Magi-Nation?

this was a card game that came out about 2000 by a company called Interactive Imagination. The card game had a lush storyline, interesting characters, and unique gameplay. But suddenly with the release of this crazy "Yu-Gi-Oh!" game, it lost popularity. I LOVED that game, but now no one sells it.

Anyone else feel my pain...

Any one who wants to check out some of the official fiction to this game can click on the link in my sig...

Re: anyone *still* play Magi-Nation?

I have the video game. Which, unless i am mistaken, the card game is modeled after. But I don't have the cards.

I DO have a special limited edition Tony card that came with my preorder of the game a few years back... hmm...

Re: anyone *still* play Magi-Nation?

ive never heard of it. whats it about? i used to play yu-gi-oh... tons of money wasted. i also played pokemon, lots of money there too. i wish i hadnt spent all the money i did on the stupid cards. this thing you just explained sounds pretty neat, but i WILL NOT buy the cards. when you start to buy cards you get addicted to the feeling you get when you open a pack to see whats inside, and then, only to find a load of crap. so then you go and buy another pack, and another, and another, unitl you have no money and are selling possesions just for alittle more cash to buy the next pack, hopein to find that rare card youve been wanting. its all a spiral.

I've played Yu-gi-oh for a loooong time and once bought a pack of um. I hated the rules and then continued to play Yu-gi-oh and enter the tournaments and use Exodia to win.

Re: anyone *still* play Magi-Nation?

i remember that game. I got a discount on a back of a magazine for it. And there was this other thing. If i bought a deck i would have got a discount on a game. But i guess i never used it. Maybe a Magi-nation game could come out on GBA. Because it was a mistake puttiing it out on GBC.
