(PTT) D/P Pokemon Technical Training

INTRODUCTION: Hi guys, am prince charmin and most of u either know me or have seen me around the forum.

Reason 4 Topic: I love playing pokemon games and since i got my Pearl version i have been having a blast but am having problems with most of the technical pokemon training (IV + EV). I therefore created the topic in hopes that us pokefans can share training info, suggestion and pokemon training projects.

My Project: Since the following pokemon have to be traded to evolved i wanted to pay special attention to them so i can have them at their strongest.

LV:42

Nature: Calm

Ability: Rock Head

HP=152 (max HP UP used)
ATK=113 (max PROTIEN used)
DEF=125 (max IRON used)
SP ATK=62 (max CALCIUM used)
SP DEF=58 (max ZINC used)
SPEED=55 (max CARBOS used)

Here Is Where You Come In: I need u guys to guide me through the best EV training for my Rhydon and to know when is best to evolve it to Rhyperior.

There is no best. But what I do know is that it isn't smart at ALL to get a traded poke and try to ev train him. Get a new poke (catch him) and work on him from the beginning. And I don't even want to tell you how to do IVs. Those are the easiest things to do ever. And for a Rhyperior. What do you want his best stats to be? I can help you.

Is it possible to have an all rounder? If not i want the attack, defence, sp atk and sp def. So how do i go about the task?

All rounder? You can EV train each stat but the stats wouldn't be very stong. 4 of them.. still wouldn't be that strong. What you should do to a pokemon is find his best base stats, make sure he's the perfect nature and IV train the stats you want maxed. I always find it best to EV train 2 stats so your poke will have 2 incredibly high stats and at level 100 his other stats will be high. For instance, Rhyperior's natural best base stats are.
Attack and Defence
He is a physical wall
so take advantage of his advantages and ev train those.
Now evolving all depends on what moves you want him to have.
