Game of the Year 2007

I knew some insensitive idiot would leave out Mass Effect.


I voted Halo 3, but I know Galaxy is going to win.

^Fanboys? Hardly. Galaxy deserves that spot, there's no doubt about that. It's not like other games don't deserve it as well though, but Mario Galaxy is far from a game that gets supports from the fans alone.

I actually will have Brawl for at least 13 days before I leave. As for Blizz...well, he is turning 19 before me so I don't know. (we leave on or around our 19th birthdays normally)

So not that bad, but still a lot of other gems I will have to miss for a while.

Honestly, I'd think CoD4 would get more votes if the poll was better represented.

I voted for Portal, Bioshock, and Galaxy, but now seeing Galaxy's immense lead I'm wishing I didn't vote for it.

Voted for Super Mario Galaxy.

Havent had a chance to play many of the others...

I agree. It has one of the most intense campaigns I've ever played, and the multiplayer is also extremely deep.

God of war 2 all the way.

I loved the first god of war, and 2 was way better.

it's quite obvious that SMG is gonna win this poll, because we're on zeldauniverse where mostly everyone here are nintendo fans...

^Are you implying that it doesn't deserve the spot? You know, it was game of the year at almost every major gaming website, too, and those aren't based around Nintendo fans.

I personally wouldn't call it Game Of The Year, but Mario Galaxy is a fantastic game and it deserves all the praise it gets.

Super Mario Galaxy, Phantom Hourglass, Portal.

Three incredible games, all deserving of a vote in my eyes, and fun as hell to play to boot. I considered Pokemon D/P also, but while that is indeed crazy fun and addictive, something about it is pulling me back from considering it a top game. I have no idea what, and I play it just as much, if not more, than a couple of the games I did vote for, but there you go.

no no by all means it does deserve top spot. All I'm saying is that since how you have SMG on the poll, on zeldauniverse where a bunch of nintendo fans are, that this poll is pretty biased.

By reading that post I presume that you havent played the halo games or any shooter games, only nintendo. Halo series are pretty good games, I wouldn't be dissing that game.

I disagree, but thats me. I love how everyone mentions shooting babyish aliens, but fail to mention all the other near epic moments in the campaign.

Halo 2. First level, you walk around this yucky space ship and you have to shoot these babyish monsters that don't even look good. They seriously need to get a proper artist on the job.

Also, the poll isnt biased at all. SMG got Game of the Year on IGN, Gamespot and I think Gamespy too. Shows how good babyish mediocre shooters are, aren't they?

Sounds like you're mad at Halo for some reason. =\ I just played Halo 3's campaign the other day, and it was awesome.

Yes the poll is biased because we're on a nintendo fan based site. So obviously SMG is going to get the most votes on this site guaranteed. Just think about it, putting a popular mario game on a poll on a nintendo fan site, on a poll that says game of the year. Yea it's pretty biased if you ask me.

I'm not saying that it doesn't deserve top spot though. It is a great game don't get me wrong.

And this doesn't show how shooters are crap by the way....lol
