Sounds interesting.

But hey, I've got a question. Whenever I start playing my copy of Ruby (keep in mind it's a used copy), and after I press the start button on the main screen, I get a message that says "The internal battery has run dry. The game can be played. Timebased events will not occur." I don't get this in other games, but I guess it means I won't get any timebased events in Ruby, but will that matter any?

^ Sounds like the battery that runs the internal clock has run out.I don't remember if anything in Ruby really relied on it, though.

Someone stole my Silver Cartridge, so I got Gold.

First generation: Red, Blue, Yellow (and Green, if you're Japanese).

Second Generation: Gold, Silver, Crystal.

I'm a bit hazy on what FireRed and LeafGreen count as, but for the purposes of what I was saying earlier, they're not first-gen games. The Amnesia trick only worked on the originals, because Special got split into Special Attack and Special Defence afterwards.

my lil cuz has the same prob with his ruby. he was telling me it stops berrys from growing and stuff like that. he also sd it is some kind of glitch and that obtaining the pokemon jarishi {if my spelling is correct} could stop correct the glitch... i dont know how true, thats just what he told me

anyone knows if and where i can find electabuzz on leaf green?

Berries matter a lot to me...I guess I won't be getting them in Ruby. >.>

Of all the Poke`mon Games, Gold/Silver were the best...

I think Diamond and Pearl are the best. :]

thanks for the spell correction, u can still get berries if u want and have a close friend. i grow the berries that my cuz needs, i give them to what we call carrier pokemon{6pokemon with no purpose but to hold items and trade}. we trade back and forth. try it if u like, its not as easy as personally growing them but it works

.Hi, I'm gonna make new team for Diamond and this is what I am planning:
Torterra, Rampardos, Lucario, Electivire, Toxicroak and Mothim.
Please comment on what you think about this team and if I could make any improvements, thanks.

The only thing I suggest is to ditch Mothim and switch it for a fire type. Charizard or Infernape are the two I'd recommend, seeing as they're both dual type.

Thanks I was kinda wonderin about mothim and luckily I have a level 63 charizard ready in my box.

nice team idea but drop the Mothim for dragon or fire

I REALLY don't think Mothim is a good idea. He's pretty weak. If you REALLY want to use a bug type, go for Vespiquen or Scizor. They're really the only bug types worth bothering with.

anyone knows about "bad eggs"? i borrowed a friends leaf green and when i looked into his pokebox on the computer i found some bad eggs. i checked their stats and it said they usually take long to hatch. amazingly one of the eggs is holding an item. anyone has any info about these eggs and how to hatch them???

Thanks evryone for the advice^^I decided to get rid of the mothim and I might replace it with charizard or a combee, altough salamence would be cool too.

why wouldnt i be and how would it affect my game play?

It wouldn't affect your game play. It would cease it altogether.
And you don't hatch them. They are corrupted files.

oh one more thing there is a guy on route 226 in a house that u have to surf to get to. he offered me a trade...he wanted a fineon for his magikarp. anyway on the wall in his house there is a poster of his favorite pokemon. does anyone have any info on him?
