Official Pokemon Thread V.2

OMG

I only just this second realised that equipping the first pokemon with the exp share. will double their exp. XD

I'm planning on adding an Umbreon to my squad in the future, or should I just level up the Murkrow I have?

Umbreon is much better, but with Aerial Ace and Fly, your Murkrow could because very convenient in battle and outside.

i feel that they should never be a female machop, a female machoke, a female machamp, a male medicham, a male karlia at all. these pokemon appearance contradict their gender. what do u think?

Medicham looks more female, in my opinion.

I suppose it's the larger hips.

Having one gender of those pokémon is quite illogical, however. How would they mate? Well, they wouldn't.

I just set the three legendary pokémon free, and now I'm off to Mt. Coronet to stop Cyrus. Anything I need? No spoilers, please.

My team:

Empoleon: Level 42
Luxray: Level 42
Graveler: Level 41
Rapidash: Level 42
Haunter: Level 42

I'm saving that last spot for a decent flying pokémon. There's a low level Hoothoot in there at the moment.

they would mate with a ditto or a pokemon in their mating group.

That seems too farfetched.

The game is better how it is at the moment.

shinx is a good pokemon when well trained but he doesnt learn any other moves but electric, normal and dark type moves. Your best bet tho is to breed it with a pokemon that has ice fang and fire fang so that when the egg hatches it comes with those moves. i have my luxray at lv75, his attack and speed are real nice

guy i find that the pokemon in pearl are much easier to catch compared to the past versions, cause i caught all my legendaries without using my master ball

Actually, an event, or code, is needed.

Princecharmin, try not to double post.

I wouldn't use the Masterball on Dialga or Palkia. I caught them both by simply tossing a Quick Ball at them on my first turn. If it doesn't work first time, reset and try again. They have both have much much high capture chances than most legendaries.

What about Starly/Staravia? The evolved form of Staraptor is a heavy hitter with good defense, plus it can learn good moves like Pluck, Close Combat, Aerial Ace, and Steel Wing. Or you could get Zubat/Golbat. They're poison types as well, and the evolved form of Crobat is quite decent too.

Luxray - Level 46
Machoke - Level 44
Staraptor - Level 45
Gastrodon - Level 45

I have a level 24 Gabite in the last spot, but I'm working towards making it good and powerful Garchomp. Roserade used to be there, but I really keep having trouble leveling it up. My Gabite recently evolved from a Gible, but it still has some pretty strong moves. Dragon Rage, Dragon Claw, Return, and Sand Tomb. I taught it Return because I thought it might be useful and it turned out to be pathetic enough to use on the Unown I haven't caught yet.

Speaking of which, I caught a few more of them today as well.

EDIT: On yeah, Kitsune, one more thing. You should level up a bit more before facing Cyrus. His Pokemon are strong, and I recommend leveling up to 45-46. You'll see why once you face him. I don't want to spoil anything.

Why are people so afraid to use ubers? Heck, my team ONLY has ubers!

Dragon Arceus learns Draco Meteor, therefore, it's different from the other forms.

So wait, does that mean if I have an Arceus without a Draco Plate then he can't learn Draco Meteor? I thought I could simply give him a Draco Plate and then teach him Draco Meteor.... That's stupid that you can't.

And Deoxys...I don't even know where you got the idea that they're all the same.

I have seen videos where this guy presses the A button while facing various rocks in a certain city, and the Deoxys in his party changes. It's the same Deoxys, but it has different base stats and a different appearance. He doesn't go and get a new pokemon every time. In fact, he never even visited the pokemon center between the times when his Deoxys changed form.

In all honesty, I did not know this before you made this post. And I've evolved over a hundred pokemon by level-up in my Pearl game. SON OF A *****.
