Also, guess what I did in Pokemon LeafGreen the other day? I beat Brock...with a friggin Beedrill that knew no decent attack moves. Only Poison Sting and...gah I forgot the other one and neither of them were very effective against his rock types. I used one potion, but I still took out both Geodude and Onix with Beedrill alone. I was amazed.

Though, I did use Harden a few times to up Beedrill's defense. The only other Pokemon I have is Charmander. I don't know why I didn't catch a Pidgey...>.>

YAy I just got my diamond game!!!!!

I'm hoping to get diamond or Pearl soon, but at the minute i am stuck with my red and yellow games, only because i have nothing else to do on fire red. And i have heard that they are pretty good.

i know how u feel, when i bought mine i ripped the plastic off in front of the cashier, held it to my nose to smell that new game smell and played it all the way home...i almost got ran over by 2cars and a bus...

i have leaf green as well and am planning to restart it, so i gine try to beat brook wid a beedrill too.......well done tho

Natures are not going to turn a Pokemon from a physical to a special sweeper. Not at all.
Dragon Dance turns Gyarados from a good Pokemon to an unbeatable Pokemon.
Physical attacks on Gyarados will ALWAYS hit more than special attacks.

it works for me

1. lets we were battling,u use that dragon dance and i use an electric attack like discharge or thunderbolt...ur gyarados will be sleeping with the fishies.

2. are u saying that waterfall or aqua tail will be more effective to a ground type pokemon than surf

3. natures to matter, different natures raise different stats, like hasty increases a pokemon's speed everytime it levels up

Natures might change your Pokemon's stats by +/-10 or so. Not enough to majorly influence anything.
And yes, Aqua Tail or Waterfall will do more than Surf.
And let's say your Gyarados was versing an Onix. Onix uses Rock Throw, does little damage. You use Dragon Dance. After defeating Onix, your opponent sends out Raichu. Using your increased speed, you OHKO Raichu, and proceed to sweep the rest of your opponent's team. You win.

You see an electric type or a pokemon that you expect to have an electric type move and you swap pokemon. It's as easy as that. I use a Starmie as my first pokemon in the battle tower, when I see an electric move coming, I swap to my Electivire.

Yes, yes it would. If used by a Gyarados that is. Gyarados' base Attack is more than double its base special attack. If the pokemon using surf was a Starmie, yes, surf would be better. You have to learn to match up your moves to your pokemon's stats.

Natures give +/-10% to a pokemon's base stat. Gyarados has a base Special Attack of 60, it's base Attack is 125. Even with a +special attack nature, Gyarados' base special attack is under half it's base attack.

It IS a joke! I just realized that if nobody knows anything about this, how can the website and whoever announced it know? The only way is if the guy's in cahoots with Ninty. And that isn't very likely.

It isn't a joke; Junichi Masuda announced it. He is the director of the Diamond/Pearl production. The only way the website know is because it was publicly announced.
