The only thing I really care about here is Crisis Core, but I figured other people might be interested in the other titles. Either way, I'm glad they finally put a date on that game.

And if anyone was wondering: The World Ends With You = It's a Wonderful World

Does that mean no Crystal Chronicles Wii until 2009?

Crystal Chronicles for the Wii is supposedly "in trouble."

W00T to The World Ends with You and Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII! Beyond that, well, there isn't really much more on the list.

I was expecting more though when I entered the thread. Seeing as this is only the Spring line-up, these are of course not all the titles.

Actually, I'm a bit pissed off by Crisis Core's release date. I expected it earlier. Well, I guess if they add some improvements and do the usual top notch localization, I shouldn't complain.

*Ahem* First English Crisis Core Trailer.

Finally a release date for Crisis Core. It's not too late for me since I've got more games to play. I'm just glad they finally gave us a date.

Yeah, these games are likely just their first quarter releases. I predict we'll see FFTA2 in the summer and FFIV in the fall, though I hope it's sooner.

'In trouble' is bad. If Square Enix takes this away from the loyal Wii-owners I will cut them. It's bad enough that I'm missing out on all three Final Fantasy XIII's (still have to post in that new thread o.O)

"Dragon Sword....?" You mean Dragon Quest? Or are you referring to Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (which isn't Square-Enix)? And by "TP", you mean Twilight Princess, right? Dragon Quest games are nowhere close to Zelda (as far as I know; I've never played one)... it's an RPG series. Though I have no idea how much its Wii incarnation differs from the rest of the series.... So far, I've seen some first-person shots of the game.

Simply put, it pretty much sucks. (It's an outsourced side game.)

Put me in this boat. Though, I do have a friend who imported it from Japan, and it looks great. Though not being able to read anything means it's kinda pointless, but still...WHERE IS FFTA2!! *Tears apart Nintendo in search of it*

Re: Square Enix announces 2008 US titles

Crisis Core is a very entertaining game from what I played, and the visuals were really gorgeous, seeing the videos is one thing but having the game run in your hands really shows you how much power that little PSP can pack.

The rest of the games on the list seem fairly interesting but nothing that really drives me. Crystal Chronicles does seem interesting though, the series has taken an interesting route from the system it had with the Gamecube version. I hope they keep the same music composer. Nobou is really great but I loved the sounds in Crystal Chronicle and hope that the new games keep it in that tone.
