Super Smash Bros Fan Game, help needed!

I've been making a Smash Bros. Fan game for a while, the thing is that I'm advancing really slowly, I'm planning to make it a full smash bros game, but for now is only a break the targets minigame for 2 players, it still doesn't have a combat system (no damage % and you can't attack other characters).

Right now, only Mario is at a playable level, and Roy and Kirby are being made, Mario has all of his aerial attacks, he can do the 3 hit ground combo and has his forward strong attack, he can also throw fireballs, he can jump, double jump, even short hop and fast fall, but it is quite glitchy, if you attack just when you walk off a ledge, Mario will get stuck and I can't fix that.

the control for player 1 are:
Arrow keys: move, jump and fast fall.
5: attack button (like "A" in the real game.)
4: special moves (like "B" in the real game.)

and the controls for player 2 are:
W, A, S, and D: move, jump and fast fall.
J: attack button (like "A" in the real game.)
H: special moves (like "B" in the real game.)

Enter resets the game, Esc closes the game and F4 is for enter full screen mode.

I will need all help as possible to finish this, I'm using Game Maker, someone knows how to use it? I also have problems with sprites.

HELP ME!!!

I have to download it? I'm good....um I don't know how to use it but I have ideas as to what you should do.

Any idea is welcome, I'll try to put it someway into the game, and yes, you have to download it, 1612 KB, it's not very heavy...for the moment...

Well I suggest putting really cool characters from any series in it. Not just Nintendo characters. Also if you can, add alot of stages that weren't in Smash Bros Melee...I have more but I'm eating dinner right now.

I thougth of the characters thing, I'm waiting to see if everyone agrees with that, I could even include someone from ZU!

Nice game, it will be awesome when it is completed, but I noticed a problem, when i get near the target I can't move anywhere or jump.

I made another version, Its the same but now is Roy vs Mario, Roy only has 2 attacks right now, but at least he is in, what do you think of Roy's running animation? it took like an hour to make it look decent, I'm not a very fast spriter...

it's not exactly when you get near the target, when you attack just when you get off the platform or when you attack just before jumping, it's a stupid glitch that is killing me! I have tried to fix it for weeks at least I know WHY it does happen, I think the game doesn't know if the character is on the air or in the ground...

Roy looks good, but i can't find out how to attack with player 1, whenever i try he freezes.

maybe there is a way of that glitch appearing wich I don't know? anyway, I had two item Ideas! but I'm not putting those into the game until I have a full working combat system in the game and at least 1 or 2 completed characters.

Blue Shell: it looks like the Green and Red Shells, but it has wings and of course it is blue, it's like the Red one, but aerial.

Yellow Shell: again it looks like the other shell but it is yellow, it works like the Green one, but wherever it falls (ground, wall or touches another character) it makes a little earthquake around it, like DK's down B, but only when it touches the ground.

I made a new one, nothing too special, the Mario controled by Player 1 can now dash by double tapping the button, it think I halfly fixed that glitch, it still happens, but you can now get rid of it attacking or pressing an arrow key.

Hmm... looks good so far, but your right, it needs a lot of work. If you want, could you put the GM file up for download and I'll see if a can help you out with it.
I'll try and make you a Pvs.P system, and if it works, I'll give it back and tell you how it works. ^^

If it works you will get massive credit, I haven't managed to make one, and I've been working for this for some quite time, I think it is this one, I can't be sure because I have alot of files with similar names, it is a .gmk so I think only GM7 can open it. There is also a Kirby in the data, you might want to check him.

EDIT: I forgot to tell you, if you have registered version, try not using any of the registered features, because I'm unregistered.

I'm advancing with Kirby and he should be playable tomorrow, he got 2 attacks, but at the speed I'm advancing with him he should be as complete as Mario very soon.
I didn't advanced very much with Roy because it's harder to make his sprites, Kirby sprites are basically all made, and I barely need to edit.

OMG I got new posts! I think I will post kirby today, I will try to add sounds soon, and Bobby Emerald, Link won't be made very soon, because of sprite problems, I have to choose one, I'll probably use Goldstud's, and I'm defineatly not using Semijuggalo's, but a lot of editing is needed...

why am I getting so few replies ...

I made Kirby! tough he still needs a bit polishing, I tried to make his dash attack, but there was a problem when he got off ledges while doing it, tough it should still be technically possible to do. BTW, I added the taunt, you do it by pressing 8.
