Only VII was published by Sony though. VIII and IX would be completely possible on a Nintendo system. Though I would honestly see all three of those games remade on a system more powerful than the DS, because they would be more like ports than remakes, if that was the case.

2Gb, not 2GB. But honestly, the improvement up to 2Gb for DS card size is the biggest improvement we've seen for the system. With 256MB of space, what they could be able to do with that is astounding.
Edit: Apparently, Square-Enix is using a 1Gb card for Final Fantasy IV DS, not a 2Gb card. That's the same that they used for III DS. That kind of sucks. But everything about the game is looking good, so it doesn't really matter I guess.

They say that, but just from what I've seen, I don't know if I can really believe that high of a percentage. From hands on impressions, I have heard that the story has been completely rearranged and so on, but that the story is now going to take up 60% more space over the original? I would love for that to be true, but I am a bit skeptical. I hope it is.
But this game has exceeded my expectations already. The fact that it's such a real effort, that they added a
VOCAL THEME SONG to the game, it's just all so incredible. I really can't wait to play it.
