Ok, 1. I think there's a thread about this rumour.
2. It's total B***S*** if you ask me. This sort of news would be on the official Sony site if it were official. I have not seen any news about a FFVII remake for the PS3 on the Sony website, so this rumour is a lie. There will be no news of a FFVII remake, let alone a release date for it. However, there might be a possibility they will be making it. |

if they are going to do a remake, dont use FF7, they have bled the franchise to death...
FF9 would be better, no one really payed heed to that gem of a game, a remake for it would be great

I belive they only made the FF7 remake trailer just to show off the PS3's Graphical capapbilitys, like taking a game where chareters looked like lego men, to turning them into pure, graphical sexys
anyway, I think it may just be propaganda to boost the PS3's sales
