FF XII Ultame weapons, Is it Worth it?

I am a true final fantasy fan and i don't stop until i complete every little thing and get every weapon. but iv'e played final fantasy XII and its a great game but i don't see any point of collecting the ultamate stuff because ie allready defeated the second stongest boss in the game (hell wyrm) with no ultamate equipment and at lvl 60. Plus they take ages to get and their are way to many of them. I'll show you

Have you fought Yiazmat yet? Because he's stronger than Hell Wyrm. Ultimate weapons aren't necessarily a must for defeating him, but getting the best of everything is really recommended to make the battle less of a hassle. Even with the ultimate weapons and all your characters at level 99, you're still looking at a 4-hour-long battle.
