Guitar Hero vs. Rock Band

quite simply. I have a ps2. I dont have an xbox 360 or ps3. I have 90 dollars. I don't have 300 dollars (asumption) for 2 guitars, 1 drum and a microphone. Besides, Guitar hero is enough for me. I love guitar hero. Rock band will be good but is anoyingly expensive and requires 4 players to really get into it.

How about both? I want rock band for the drums and guitar and guitar hero because its guitar hero and I already have the guitar on my 360.

I've already got my Rock Band band set up. We're just waiting for the release to commence the hilarity. I do want GH3 too, though. I like what Activision has done with the bosses and whatnot.

yeah the boss battles look to be very cool. Also, I have heard in multiplayer mode, when you are battling one another, You can use star power to initiate attacks on your opponent that make the part they are playing harder (more notes possibly?) so it should add alot of competition to multiplayer.

Rock Band is pretty much everything that Guitar Hero is, along with much more. It'll be the better game by far.

However, that's without taking into account things like money. And friends.

I think that Guitar Hero 3's guitar portion will be better, but Rock Band will be the better game overall. I'll be buying both, though I'll probably hold off on the second guitar and the drums for awhile.
