EDIT - There is another Runescape thread up but mine is more detailed and is ment for more of the discussion of the game.


This thread is for Runescape fans only, I don't want any negative comments just keep them to yourself.

All right, this is for large discussions of the game, I guess they have forums for that but still. Anyway, I am a verteran Runescape player i could say, been playing 2.5 years and counting. Lvl 100. Add general onyx if you want. I really like this game, it's great, except for the graphics. Although I don't mind them I would like to see them up to around the calibur of Warcraft or lesser i dont care. Different angles etc.

One thing Runescape does have on competition is a huge game with a low price. It is quite massive. If you think about joining I advise you do. The begining can either be boring or awesome to you. I personally envy my own runescape begining and the fact I can't do it again and feel the same way.

Here you can discuss, well...anything about it, help, guides, sell somthing I don't care, just respect the rules.

Little rule breaker.

I used to play.

I was a level 92 member.

I had:

About 2mil
Full rune
Dragon Sq
Dragon Scimmy
Rune Boots
Legends cape
Amulet of Glory
Ring of Wealth
A freaking huge house
All but 2 quests completed
I frequently had a party to kill the KBD. (we were planning on taking on the kalphite queen)
And a slew of other stuff.

Now I am no longer a member, I lost my account, and I'm a level 5 with nothing.

a similar thing happened to my acount. When I was in 5th grade, I created the acount runer133. I got it to combat lvl 70 or so. Then I really wanted gold to get some nice weapons for myself. So! I went to one of those runescape gold buying sites. However, the site required That I enter my username and passerword. Being the neive idiot I was, I told them. The next day, my acount was gone!

Anyway, My new acount "Zeldafoo9" is a lvl 67 ranger with lvl 71 range. I created it about 1 year ago and havn't played it much lately. However. Me and my friends who all played in 5th grade, are going to become members for a few months just for some fun. So, I will probably be playing again soon.

Being a ranger...I am interested in buying any kind of arrows, and a darkbow. I am also a smither, Lvl 59 smithing, So I buy a great deal of coal, mithril ore, etc. So if anyone is looking to make a quick buck, that is what I'm interested in buying.

EDIT: oh yeah...I also forgot to mention. If anyone knows some rewarding quests let me know. I have done a fair amount of quests, but they are constantly adding new ones. Of anyone knows of some quests with good rewords (like ranged exp, deffence exp, prayer exp, or rare and valuable items) please let me know.

Also, I have to agree with everyone that runescape, well, its not that great compared to WoW. And in fact, If I had the money to pay 70 dollars for software and 15 dollars a month, I would play, but since I'm on a tight budget, I play RS. besides, for 5 bucks a month, RS is well worth it. The graphics are definately below par, but c'mon, its java script...give it a break. and if everyone judged videogames on graphics alone, No one would play Oot anymore. I mean, c'mon, those graphics are downright blocky.

I play for gameplay not graphics, although nice graphics are good to have, they increase the gameplay.

By the way if anyone here is a fletcher I have lots of supplies.

I'm Radkin10 there and i'm not doin too swell, i'm only lvl 23 or somethin like that... but if your ever on... look me up, though i hardly play anymore.

I like how you compared OoT to Runescape...... Terrible, the graphics are totally different, and your better off wiping your butt with the five dollars you spend on runescape. But if you truly enjoy it.....I played in elementary school. I'm sad I wasted the money.

Because thats mostly it. Just some improved graphic and a better veiw system would make it even better.

yeah pretty much. Most of the other stuff in the game is similar to other MMO's. Plus, runescape has alot more non combat skills than most other games, so Its nice to have variety. I mean c'mon, you can make your own custom house, smith, mine, cook, fish, farm, practice herblore, practice slayer, hunt, etc. there alot of other fun things to do in this game. and for 5 bucks it is rather vast.

no your not. dollars are quite coarse. I think I would rather buy some toilet paper with the 5 dollars, that way I could get some nice soft toilet paper instead.

yeah, I hate graphic whores. I still play my genesis and other retro games. Why? because I don't give a crap about graphics and care much more about the game itself.

If you got feathers...I will buy them.

I'd rather play guild wars w/ a one time fee.
And i'm not complaining about graphics, I don't care about them. As long as the game is fun, which RS isn't.
