Cutsom Firmware hacks on your PSP

A friend of mine wanted me to post this on ZU, and I decided to do it.
Simply state your opinion about Custom Firmwares on your PSP, heck, I barely know what it is actually.>_> All I know is that they're hacks.

I'm completely against hacks, so no...

They make your warranty void I assume. That means that if it broke it'd be purely your fault and you'd have to go out and buy a completely new one without Sony's help at all.

Also, its dangerous because if the hack isn't secure it can really damage the system.

EDIT: It sure is nice not having the slaughtering of the English language located in this thread.

Being able to play emulated PS1, N64, GBA, SNES and Genesis games on my PSP = awesome. So, I voted yes, naturally.

I say yes, although I do not own a psp...there really isn't a purpose to the PSP other then homebrew in my opinion.

Basically, every gamesystem is useless without hacks, according to you, that is.
