THIS...IS...MARIO KARTA! (Official Mario Kart Wii Thread)

I think all We know sofar is that it will come bundled with the "Wii wheel", Be playable online and be available Q1 2008. We don't have much info, but as we get more, this will be the thread to discuss it. Feel free to comment.

I sincerely doubt it will be available Q1 2008- for a big game like that, Nintendo will usually not release it until a steady stream of information has gone by. Admittedly, they didn't to that for the Pokemon games, so what do I know. Still, I look forward to this.

Oh, and the "This is (300 reference)!" jokes are starting to get really old.

This game looks like it will be a must have. It would be really cool if they released a new mario kart for the DS that you could link to your wii to unlock bonus cars, tracks, or characters, it would be sooo cool!

Actually, I heard you could link up your ds via wi-fi to the wii touse as a rear view mirror for your kart, just a rumor though, I think.

Mind explaining? Personally I think it will be better.

Afterall, MK64, I could litterally wait like 10 seconds or more, and still end up winning every race. I don't know about you, but I look for a challenge in my games.

I think this game is looking great and will hopefully be a must have for 08.

How can you even have a thread on this? We have absoulutely no info. The game probably won't be released until next summer. It's much to early.

Online play will be awesome, though.

It's probebly going to be like strikers and have to many quiters.
If they were smasrt through, theyed have if you quit you just dissapear from the race and the race keeps going.

It's true that no one takes Nintendo's online seriously. Dropping has always been an issue, and is with every online title. Both DS and Wii.

I just hope it has all four cups or mabey more, because dounle dash only had three. I allso think it would be cool to have an option to have two players per kart or one player per kart.

Wrong, Double Dash has four cups, Mushroom, Flower, Star, Special. The fourth, Special Cup, is unlockable. There's also the All-Cup Tour, which is basically a huge cup that includes all 16 courses.

Meh, mario kart was never one of my best games, I just enjoy it loads.
