Best wii games?

I recently acquired myself a wii, and i am hooked on twilight princess.

But i've only got pirates of the Caribbean 3 and wii sports other than zelda.

So just a quick question really, what is the best few games i should look into getting?

I'm unfortunatly not to keen on the PTOC game on the wii...

I hear res evil 4 is good though...

If you haven't played Resident Evil 4, definitely pick it up for the Wii. If you like wacky mini games, you should look into WarioWare. If you like intense sports, or Mario spinoffs, look into Mario Strikers Charged.

Other than that, Metroid's coming out real soon.

The three I'd tell you to consider are Resident Evil 4 ( Actually, a must have), Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Super Paper Mario. Other favorites of mine are Excite Truck, and Elebits.

The choice is yours.. ( Except for Resident Evil 4. Get it. Now. )

Yup, RE4 was good.

My personal favorite for the Wii was Marble Mania. Yeah, it's one of the games that doesn't get mentioned too often. It's alot like Monkey Ball, but it's overall better. (No more monkey sounds, no stupid timer dinging at you, didn't waste heaps of room putting in 50 pathetic mini games, actually has a two player form of the real game, menus that make sense, actually uses the full range of motion, and this list'll be too long if I go on forever) so basically that was the best game we ended up with for it. If you like the other Monkey Ball games, I'd say go for Marble Mania. But you didn't mention anything about them, so I'll just throw it out there as a suggestion.

Other then that, all the games we've gotten for the Wii have either had too terrible controls or were just too easy. Seriously, we were beating the "Very Hard" CPUs in Mario Party 8 within a week of getting the game.

Yeah, we're looking into finding better games for it at my house right now. So far none of it looks interesting though, so we're just waiting for the new Super Smash to come out. (And hoping they haven't trashed the controls)

Sonic and the Secret Rings is currently the best Wii game out there.
DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi is pretty sweet as well.

I can't help myself but argue with that. We have here and I think we declared it to be incredibly annoying. The controls for it were incredibly annoying. There were levels where he'd jump, miss the railing, try to walk backwards, get his view flipped the wrong way around, have to backtrack for half the level, finally get flipped the right way, run all the way back, miss the railing, and then he'd have to do it all over again. Alot of the levels seemed to be "Here, have a worthless power up item. Can you use it ten times?" Then they did the same thing as Monkey Ball, add a mini Mario Party with tons of mini games that we hardly ever play. With the controls and from what I saw, it got fairly repetative, alot of the times you'd die because the WiiMote wouldn't work right, and most everything that was making it hard was simply the faulty controls.

And now I'll shut up about it.

What's good on the Wii right now? Nothing. Wait for the big three.

If you haven't played them, RE4 and TP are musts, same with Trauma Center: Second Opinion, but I'd still suggest playing it even if you've checked out the DS version. Other than that I'd say Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Wario Ware (just for parties), either of the Maddens, and Elebits. Honestly, Elebits a fun little game.

But for now, unless you're really enthralled with any of those, I'd say just rent them. Save your money for the really good stuff that's coming out this year.

ok THE BEST games on the Wii are Twilight Princess, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Need for Speed Carbon, Red Steel, Resident Evil 4, Trauma Center Second Opinion, Wii Sports,Transformors the game, Spider-man 3, and Exite Truck.

Soon to be great games are Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy.

Don't forget Super Smash Bros Brawl and Naruto Clash of Ninja Reolution either.

So anyway, save your money for Metroid Prime 3 and Super Paper Mario, they'll be out in a month or so. If you do have a lot of cash, pick up RE4 as well. And if you want a multiplayer game, download Bomberman 93 from the shop channel.

Despite it's negative reception by most of the big reviewers out there, Red Steel is a fun, immersive FPS with innovative controls and some of the best graphics (that I have seen) on the Wii. I had lots of fun playing it, and I highly reccomend it. I also reccomend ExciteTruck, arguably one of the best arcade-style racing games for the system. It features stunts, nitro boosts, insanely huge jumps, a kewl control setup, and unparalelled gameplay.

Most definitely RE4!!! And Zelda TP. Isn't the new Fire Emblem comming our soon? I will be picking that up. It should be good. Now I wanted to try Super Paper mario. I have played the others and was told that this one was not good. Now what do you all think? Is it worth the pick up?

Again, Corruption isn't out in England for two months, Super Paper Mario hasn't been released and Elebits is called Eledees over here (for some strange reason).

As for game's I'd recommend, it depends what you want. If you're looking for the more mature stuff, then Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and Red Steel are your best bets, along with Twilight Princess. If you just want something that you can easily pick up and play for a bit, then Wario Ware Smooth Moves, Excite Truck and Wii Play are the best choices. And definately get Mario Strikers Charged Football. Fantastic game that.

wait... 2 months? I've been telling myself "just one more month, just one more month" for... well, a few days now. Anyway, didn't they say september 27th? Or did they screw that just because of halo? If so, that gives me another reason not to like it.

EDIT: And how come that the GC in Leipzig, the biggest in europe, didn't bring us any solid release dates? Seriously, how lame is that?!
