Perfect Dark

Next to Zelda and Smash Bros., It's possibly the absolute best game for the N64. Think otherwise? Favorite moments? Thoughts?

I loved the datadyne levels.

OH what about Perfect Dark for the 360? Any better? Worse?

Perfect Dark was one of the best N64 games, no doubt. The best part of it was the awesome customiziation they put in it, along with all the crazy weapons.

Put as many players as you possibly can in a large stage (say temple), and then allow only grenades ( proximity bounce) and you got yourself a living hell. Or go only knives, one hit kill, and DK-mode for some awesome battles where only the most skilled thrower survives.

Yeah, definately a great game. I love it a lot more then the 360 one that I have. Better weapons, better story, better multiplayer. I will say though, the multiplayer on the new one isn't bad, it's just not as fun as the first.

Perfect Dark is, in my opinion, the best first-person shooter ever made.

I cracked out the N64 again over the few days I've had off work, and restarted it. It's such a fantastic game, very deep and detailed. The weaponry was second to none, with the brilliant secondary feature for each weapon, the Superdragon and Slayer both being fantastic weapons.

Level designs are well put together, each with their own unique mood, namely the Datadyne and Chicago Stealth, with an excellent soundtrack to boot.

I really can't praise this game enough.

True, Goldeneye is one of the greatest FPSs I've played, but Perfect Dark took everything from it and improved and expanded it. The customisation was second to none, the range of weaponary, in my opinion, is still the finest of any game.
