RE4: Would it scare me?

Do you think RE4 would scare me? The reason I ask this is because a friend recommended it to me, and I'm only 10...

But I just looked through 10 pages of images for it on Google, and none of it scared me.

So do you think the actual game would scare me?

Resident Evil isn't scary. None of the games.

well, I threw the controller at the screen on more than one occasion, but I scare easy...

It depends what phases you really, if psycotic villigers with chainsaws scare you...well, then yes

I think the point of games like this are to be scary.

edit: but just check out the rate... I think RE is rated T

It isn't really scary, just creepy. Really creepy at times (regenerators...), however you won't find youself screaming in front of your tv.

I think it's quite different to actually play the game. Being chased by half a dozen villagers/zealots is a bit thrilling to say the least. I don't find it that scary anymore, but i have gone through it like 20 times. At the end of the day, you have to play the game to know if it's scary or not. But to make sure you get the most out of it, play it in the dark.

You're ten? If that's the case, it'll scare the crap out of you. . .

In all seriousness, I would necessarily call Resident Evil 4 scary, per se. It's more startling if anything. More or less, it's one of those games that'll definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. It's a very intensely cinematic game, overall.

Try watching some videos on YouTube if you're that interested.

Re4 isn't really scary.It's intense in some parts especially if it's your first play through.

I just watched a video on YouTube of it... Didn't scare me a bit.

It's not scary. It's more of a thriller or action game than horror. Most of the enemies are human, and the ones that aren't human don't scare me.

Unfortunately, staring at a five by six (possibly low quality) screen featuring the RE4 gameplay while not playing the game yourself is a much more different experience than staring at a full-sized TV screen while actual playing the game.

I wouldn't fret though. You can probably handle the thrills.

if you are looking for a scary game, heres a list of ones that i have only played afew times, theyre that scary...

silent hill 3
silent hill 4
forbiddon siren 1&2

project zero...this one is the scariest game i have EVER played, i had nightmares for weeks and was jumpy and edgy for a long time! and as for playing it in the dark...i couldent sleep without the light on... this is true, if you really want a frightfull experience, go for that, but on your sainity be it!

It just has a creepy atmosphere to it. Other than that, its a fun game. If you don't scare easily I recommend you try it.

it depends. it has the creepy factor but there are times when the chainsaw starts up and your heart just stops or someone popss up out of literally no where and you jump (maybe even shout alittle.
