K'NEX Wii Accessories!

I love K'NEX. It is incredibly useful on top of being very entertaining! I created this Wii Remote Rack because I did not like having my remotes being banged up in other places (we used to hang them by their straps on nails in the wall).

I left the original stand at my parents' place in Washington.


It's a pretty nifty replacement. The colors aren't bad either!


Does anyone else have any Wii-related K'NEX inventions? I am still designing a better nunchuk storage unit.

Now that's what I call inventive. I don't have any k'nex but maybe I should get some.

Man those are awsome! The Wii remote storage thing is definetly the bomb. Cant think of anything for the numchucks right now though.

Well, I showed my brother, we tried making the Wiimote stand, and then he decided to try a nunchuck thing. It's not quite a stable design, and not quite visable in the picture, but there's a spot where the actual nunchuck sits and then the cord wraps around the upper part of it. Your design is probably better...

Anyways, that's really cool what you managed to do with Knex. Most of the ones at my house never got used for much more then bases, weapons, and people.

Ingenius. I used to hate K'nex, now I'm going to buy it for a Christmas present.

OMG! that is absolutely awesome! Im gonna go fish out my Knex and make controller stands for all of my controllers for all my consols! thats soo cool. Your a very creative person I'll give you that.the problem I see with your nunchuk holder is that the nunchuks dangle. you should have a stand were the nunchuks sit atop something and the cords of the nunchucks wrap around a pole or something....

That brings back some memories. I loved K'Nex when I was younger. I tried making that big ferris wheel that they would advertise in displays, but I always gave up and made some sort of car.

As for the actual topic of the thread, yeah. Good job with the accessories. Very inventive.

This reminds me of when I had a laptop, and it would repeatedly overheat and shutdown, so I use K'Nex to make a small stand that had an area for airflow under it, and it actually worked, haha.

That's...wow. Big congrats on doing this, Buzz - that's a very good idea. It makes me wish I still had my old K'nex set to play around with, because I could really use a decent place to keep my Wii remote.

I think your problem with the nunchuk is the long cord. Wrapping it around the top part like in DD123's design keeps it out of the way, but limits the easy access (unwinding it every time you use it would be a slight pain). I'll have to think abuot this one...and see if I can find myself some K'nex.

I wonder if something similar could be done with Lego...

Argh!!! I'm still trying to make a good nunchuk holder. The nunchuks are sooo... UNWIELDY!

There's no k'nex left in this country...:glare

I never got into knex, just legos, so maybe I could do something with that...

But probably not, the majority of my legos are included within wonderful replicas of Sonic and Shadows heads, as well as a Zoid I made. I may decide to post those in here, or maybe in my website, though I am not sure whether or not I allow myself to post non-photoshopped things there. I'll have to ask myself when I get home.
