Overstatement. The has lots of games, but it's completely overshadowed by the amount of mediocre-crappy games.

By "the has", do you mean the Wii? Name some games that are actually better then average to the majority. No, Mario Party 8 does not count.

Billions of people like the wii because of the new game play who would want to play with an controller something thats been played with ever since when our moms and dads where little.

Careful, lugin. The Wii has sold less than 10 million units, so that "billion" statement is a very bad exaggeration.

As for faulty consoles, my first GameCube stopped reading the discs after three years of weekend-only use, and my second GameCube has recently started doing the same thing after a year and a half of weekend-only use. In fact, I have to replace it now, and so I'm actually saving up for a Wii to accomplish that. (Since I'd get a Wii eventually anyway, I figure it'd be cheaper to get a Wii now than to do a GCN/Wii combo purchase thing later).

I agree my first wii broke it had made a sound and stop the game when I turned it off and then on it didn't work.

At least it lasts a year and a half longer than the 360's XD.

Agreed on that.

I only have a Wii. I don't care for the games on the Xbox 360, and I wouldn't want a PS3 since I don't even think there's any good games for it.

I wouldn't be able to afford all three consoles. I can hardly ever get games as it is, and Wii games are cheaper and more fun, so it's really a easy choice. Then again maybe I'm biased. But there's also good games for it.

Except all those Wii's that were bricked with the very first few firmware updates within the first month of the system's release. Oh launch hardware.

Yeah but it's a desperate way to do help your argument. And after Jak X: Combat Racing, who knows if Jak 4 or Jak 5 will be any good at all.

Well it seems Microsoft extended the warranty to 3 years. I'm not sure what the Wii's warranty time-range currently is, but 3 years is a lot.
