Remember that PS3 is not the only system with a group of big-name games coming out within the year, MGS4, Tekken 6 and FFXIII have to go up against Halo 3, Brawl, Mass Effect, Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Blue Dragon etc. Right now I think it's safe to say that PS3's future is in the hands of the third parties.

But I don't necessarily see it bombing or anything. I personally see it continuing it get a lot of games, from third parties and all, but very few being exclusive.

Hence, the reason why I listed games most likely to be exclusive to the PS3. Also the titles I listed are most likely coming out in 2008.

I'm almost positive Tekken's due out this year.

Oh, wait, I didn't catch on to that right away. Yeah, you're right, most of them will probably be in 2008. However, one possible effect of that would be that 360 and Wii gain even more support through the rest of this year and begin to overwhelm PS3 by next year. Because they too will probably have some big name titles coming out in 08.

All I can is that what PS3 has coming out for the rest of 07 (Lair, Tekken 6, Heavenly Sword etc.) better be amazing and be able to draw in a lot of console sales, because otherwise it's competitors will simply eat up the market.

I think you're missing the gist of my post. I wasn't saying that physically no system is better thanthe other, it's obvious to see that there one system is better than the other on a tech. level. I was saying that the way a system should be judged is not by hardware specs. but more along the lines of personal need.

Well yeah, but, judging hardware or personal need, some systems really are just better sometimes.

Isn't it because you technically "won" that argument. Now we're talking about something else, but if you still wanna talk about the we'll still talk.

So here's one point i just thought of. Soul Calibur 4 (sorry if i spelled it wrong) and Soul Calibur Legends. Because of the Wii not having HD capabilities, it's game discs don't have large storage capabilities. The Wii won't be getting the same games as the 360 and PS3. Now this sin't neciceraly is a good thing because say, the developer wants to release a game for all three but can't he's gonna have to make a totally orginal game for the Wii. Now (say) if SC4 turn out bad and Legends turn out good, then that's a score for the Wii and pS3 and Xbox gets stuck with another crappy. But that's a bad example since We will all know that SC4 will be a good game and Legends is what we'll looking to see if it's a good game. But even if SC4 is a good game, it (again) won't be an exclusive for the PS3 and if Legends is good then the overall winner will be the Wii.

Since when was any Soul Caliber game, besides Soul Calibur III, an exclusive to a Sony system? You make it sound as if Soul Calibur 4 not being exclusive to the PS3 a BIG DEAL, when it really isn't, because Soul Edge, Soul Calibur II, and now Soul Calibur IV are not Sony exclusives.

Is your goal out there to tell the world how bad the PS3 will be with exclusives? If so, please stop pointing out the obvious.

Also that's just 1 fighting game. And honestly the Soul Calibur franchise isn't the best in the fighting genre.

I was talking about games in general, since the Wii will make big sales (and even more with Brawl, MP3, and SMG) 3rd party game developers would be crazy not to make a game for the Wii, but can't make the same game as they did for the PS3/360.

Are you saying that if and that's a big emphasis on if, Soul Calibur Legends ends up being better than the 360/PS3 version then it will win in the console wars? At least that's what seems to be clearly stated. How will the Wii have won anything by simply having a better Soul Calibur game?

Also why do you continue to emphasize the PS3's lack of exclusivity? Soul Calibur as a franchise was never only exclusive to a Sony system, except for Soul Calibur III. It's not a huge surprise, neither is it a groundbreaking that Soul Calibur IV is going on the 360 as well.

Becasue the Wii will end up for with the exclusive good game while the PS3/360 will end up with the shared game and since the 360 is lower in price and has more consoles sold that will win.

Well exclusivity is very important. the GC didn't have many exclusive games and it lost the war.

Wii Owns Jigga City! I mean the wii is a new way of playing no more getting a controller man forget that.If you whanna shoot don't hit R Shoot for real.

The Wii is being wasted on stupid games like Mario Party, Wario Ware and Wii Play. They should make some actual GAMES in the vein of Zelda, RE4 etc... I can play ****ty mini games on any flash website on the internet, I want real games.

Well thats going well isnt it? Wii exlusives like Pokemon BR, mind boggleing! Seriously, thats not the reason the Wii will win if it does. The reason the Wii doesnt get included with those shared games is mostly because it cant handel those. Why do you think this is a good thing? The Wii with less games and so far no good exclusives= Gamecube. Hopefully, once those few of games like Mario, Metroid, and Brawl realese, it will be enough for about some years or some. I don't see many more great exclusives after that. The PS3 and 360 will have more games to fill gaps like that if needed.

I have a question about the xbox 360, to connect to live do you have to buy anything (besides the membership) or will the xbox automatically connect to your internet?
