Whel if you played the last two Halo games then already know that the foruners are the humans thats why every time the covenant or light bulb guardian of the ring only chose the humans to active the ring. Halo 3 is so ovios that we that arc is at earth thats why the covenant havent ovliviated the planet like Reach. Because normally the Covenant would glass the planet were humans live. Onether good point of this can be found in the halo 3 vidos where this anciant structure is rising foruner by design that I know of. So those are good reasons why the human race was or probaly is the foruners. But even so once the convenant get all they want from Earth bang there all dead or are they who knows.
