favorite "oddball" system
There's alot of great systems out there, n64, playstation2....but what about the ones that never really got popular? were they neccisarily bad because they never hit it big? well vote for you fav. and state why. My favorite was probably the sega Nomad. One of the great things about this handheld was that you could take a sega genisis cartridge, pop it in the back, and play your favorite console games, exact same format on the go. It would be really cool if nintendo developed a portable n64 that used 64 cartridges instead of new carts.

I have to say i'm a fan of the Sega Saturn or the Sega Genesis. Both good consoles with some okay games, but never really took off. ![]() |

I don't know if the welding goggles were strictly necessary, but yes, the Game Gear wins.

I still vividly remember the "wars" between the SNES and Genesis camps back in the day. I miss those days. ![]() |

Re: favorite "oddball" system
Not true. The Sega Genesis outsold the SNES for basically its whole lifetime except for the end, and outsold it I think in the UK.

Re: favorite "oddball" system
Yeah...maybe in time peeps will forget that crap ever happened....NOT! Yeah, Genisis is pretty cool. I have a genisis but no snes. I just dug it out of my basement to play kings bounty, uber old rpg but still good! Im gonna get a snes sometime. I really didnt like the game gear. it was clunky, screen was teeny, and it was just kinda ugly looking in my opinion.
