The batteries that I put in my Wii-mote go dead in about 2 to 3 hours, (and thats a new pack of batteries too.) I got some rechargable batteries so I could recharge them, put two in, and when they go dead I put them back in to recharge and get the other two that were still charging and put those two in the Wii-mote and do the same thing over and over again. I've been going through this cycle for a while now.
(I checked to see if they were charged up all the way and they were.)I don't know if this is normal or what. It's kind of getting annoying right now. Does the Wii-mote hog up your batteries too? I'm curious to know if it has or not.

My batteries still work since Christmas(& I play every day! & I use Energizer E2 Lithium), but you can probably find a Wii-mote dock carger thingy at Wal-Mart

Re: Wii Remote Batteries
Hmm i use just regular c-brand batteries (cheap ones) and when i turned off rumble and put sound to about 1 bar, they last for about 40 hours, which is like 3 months for me, because i hardly touch it

Re: Wii Remote Batteries
I'll go turn it off and see if it helps any.
I don't think so, I usually buy Durecell and Energizer and other batteries like those. Every couple of days. I play about 3 hours, and thats when the batteries go dead. ![]()

Re: Wii Remote Batteries
How do you store your Wii remotes?
I find that when I have my Wii and Xbox 360 stored in a milk crate together, the Wii remotes don't turn off because if a button is pressed they keep trying to find the Wii. When I unstore them to play, the batteries are dead.(big design flaw in the remotes.) I also had the same issue when I didn't play my Wii from early March until the other day. |

Re: Wii Remote Batteries
Dude just get a really strong brand of batteries such as Energizers that Nintendude uses that should solve your Wii-mote problem
