Do you hate the MMORPG Runescape?

Gameplay?

You double click and watch them hit each other like a 2 year old playing with dolls. Quests are boring. There is no reason for it to even be an online game. Not to mention armor and weapons. All they do is recolor them.

If your a free member, after like level 40 you'd probably completed all the quests. However, if your a member they regularly add quests, and there's a lot more monsters/places to explore.

I played it a few years ago, but then stopped. It got boring after a while, especially on the free account. A friend of my mine had a members account so I went to his house and tried it out. The game was better as a member, but even then I had played the game too much before, and didn't feel like playing again.

It's fun if you have a good PKer The wilderness was my favorite part, but also it got me ticked off a few times since I lost some good items there due to lag or carelessness (didn't heal quick enough etc.)

I kinda like it but since I got my nintendo wii i stoped playing for some reason. i have been playing untill i got to lvls that a lot of people think its pitiful but i thought it was awsome.

yeah, the non member comunity is really just a bunch of 5th graders calling each other noobs. the members comunity is generally older kids and teens, who are much more mature, and dont say n00b like its their job. besides, like someone stated, graphics arent everything. i play 8-bit final fantasy games and i love em just as much as i love the gba remakes and the ds remakes. and the graphics get monthly updates. for instance, recently they have updated how demons, skeletons, demons, and dragons look, they look better, and every month things get updated. i think we all remember when falador and barbarion village got an extremem makeover, it looked totally different. and besides, theres alot of strategy involved in fighting, not just two lego blocks taking swings at each other. you can use numerous weapons, use prayer to get advantages, use potions to boost stats, use spells like bind the hold your oponenet, use weapon poisons, etc. so theres alot of strategy involved in the fighting system.

EDIT: And, I don't play WoW, but it has 10x better graphics and 10x better gameplay then RuneScape could even come close to.

Dont get me wrong , but we should not be argueing about some onlie games that we have to rip out our hair for. lets just shut our mouths and play more zelda.

See, you are one of the people who judge games before playing them. You havent played wow and yet you judge its game play ? how do you know if it has good game play or not ? I have played wow and trust me, graphics aren't everything.

no i have played rune scape and sorta gotton far. i have not played Wow. im not intristed in playing WoW. i dont know anything about it. i was just sugesting we should stop fighting about it.

Just because he doesn't play WoW now, doesn't mean he hasn't played it before .

And, yes. I hate runescape.*sarcasm*

well to a point i agree. i see plenty reasons to hate rune scape. one of the major ones was that it got bored real quick. i expieced a lot of this.

You don't really think we dislike RuneScape on purely graphics?

There is NO gameplay.

You click an enemy to fight it. Uncontrolled attacks back and forth. The end.

thats also a good point. a good game should let you do every thing.

Runescape is for people who are not willing to pay for good games, in fact.

paying $5 a month is prety stupid so you can do everything in the game. im sure a lot of people dissagree.

Runescape's game play is god awful, and doesn't come anywhere close to anything at all. It's point and click, for heaven's sake.

Runescape's only REALLY worth it if you're a member, and i know, i was one, it was sweet! you could have a pet! i had a cat! but i lost it... *sniff*
And also, a lot more quests were playable
