There's edited music... But what about edited games?
I've been thinking... I'm not yet aloud to play M rated games (of course, I play them anyways when I can), so I think they should produce "censored" copies of certain games, similar to how they edit a CD. Do something about all the blood and nudity, edit some of the cut-scenes and dialogue, and you could have in your hands a T-rated game- a very strong T, but a T nonetheless. I'm not really talking about censoring, like the FCC or whoever telling them what they can and cannot put in the game, just releasing two versions of the same game. I think they would really make some extra money on it, because people like me will be able to buy it. Tell me your thoughts on this.

...well, I can, but I don't like it.
First of all, there's nothing wrong with hookers.
*clears throat* Now that we've got that out of the way, I don't mean games like that. I mean stuff that's a more mild M-rating, like Resident Evil. Just get rid of all the exploding heads and such.

hmm, this is the same with movies, would you like to see a good horror movie ruined by concors and bleeps? i don't think so, plus editing a whole game takes to much time and costs to much money for a reasonable profit.
i cencor pornogorphy for a little extra money now and its a hell lot of a work, imagine doing that for a whole game.
music gets cencored because its easier and they want to attract young people because they wan't to buy more and more later on.
games make enough profit if they're only focusing on a smaller group.
