The most comfortable controller?

What was the most comfartable controller you ever used. I included PS1/PS2/PS3 as one option because they're basicly the same shape and button layout. I would probably say the most comfartable one I ever used was the GameCube controller, it just fits the size of my hands so perfectly.

Note that this question refers to first party controllers only as third party controllers may differ in shape, size and to some extent, layout

Hm. I picked the GC, too. I preferred it to all the other controllers. Iim tey to use all of the ones listed, though.

Anyway the GC gets the vote from me. Honourable mentions to the SNES, N64 and PSOne/PS2 (and I suppose PS3, though I haven't played one yet).

I'd have to say the NGC, it's easy to hold and it is really smooth, there is my reasons

GameCube, hands down. And hands comfortable too.

Playstation first and Gamecube second, since it was basically a slightly flatter, more awkward PS controller.

I haven't touched a NES; Xbox360; PS1-PS3; Sega Genisis; Sega Mega Drive controler. So I'll pick the GC one. When I play GC for a week and then I play PS2 it feel so uncomfortable and vice-versa, so it depends.

gamecube , though ps controller has a natural feel

I can't really decide between GC and Wii, but definitely not the N64. Spinning that analog in Mario Party turn-on-the-bulb-with-a-bike minigame gave me bruises on my hands.

I would have to say that the gamecube controller is by far the most confortable controller that I have used. I heard from a friend somewhere that it was meant to form to the human hand(not sure if that is 100 percent true). Regardless, its a damn comfy controller.

It's close between the Wii and the GC, but I'd have to say GC wins. They're both comfortable, but the GC alows for longer sittings without your hand cramping.
The PS1/2/3 controller is infinitely better if the game prefers the control pad however.

GCN controller of course, then the Wii Remote comes second

I like the Wii controller. It's light-weight, and easy to move around. You don't even need two hands to use it. Well, for some games, heheh.

I love nintendo's controllers they have always been so great to me. So I'm stuck between N64, GC, and Wii. I chose N64 for some reason because I just used to really like it.

The Xbox one wasn't bad. Not anything special though.

The Gamecube controller was definately made to fit in your hands. It doesn't feel that comfortable these days, but the first year or so (while it was still pretty new) you could really feel the ergonomic design.

The Playstation controllers? I always found them kinda uncomfortable. It feels like trying to hold a square. It's ok, but definately not - to me - comfortable.

This post may come out as being biased, but I assure you I am going after what I truly feel... I do have an Xbox too.

The Wii controller is a strong rival to Gamecube's...

...hmm, I actually think the Wii controller is more comfortable than Gamecube's. Wii gets my vote.
