I'd rather have both... but it's not all about 'pretty pictures' do you think A game like Fight Night (where the boxers look so real you can tell how hurt/tired they are) or Dead Rising... (1000s of Zombies in a single area...) would be possible on the Wii? Why is the Wii version of Splinter Cell so horrible?
It's not all about graphics in ANY good game... and people need
tp stop being so pretenious and buying Nintendos spin hype... yes... it's not all about GFX but Audio and GFX immerse you into a game and further your GAMEPLAY experience.
I'm glad you're so ignorant you assume any one owning a 360 must be shallow and ONLY care about GFX... I suppose that is why I just brought a cop of Code Veronica X for my gamecube and despite the Dreamcast Era GFX.... enjoyed it probably more than any of the games I brought last year that spring to mind?
Thanks for telling me I won't enjoy me Wii... I'll do my best too when I get one... saving up for one because I don't like to box my self in an narrow the games I can experience... I'm not a biggoted fanboy... I enjoy all types of games...
What must have games are out exclusivley on the Wii exactly? and what is wrong with liking 'shooting' games... if gameplay is all you care about it shouldn't matter if you're shooting somebody... taking pictures or capturing Elibits? It's all about the GAMEPLAY right? Isn't it?... do me a favour and stop resiting **** you heard a nintendo exec say...
And for the record only Alan Wake is a confirmed PC title... maybe you ment most of them AREN'T?
As for PCs... to much hassle in my opinion... I'd rather not have to worry about system specs, driver and hardware compatability issues... operating systems and hardware which a game hasn't been SPECIFICALLY developed for, bad installs, not enough disc space to play etc...
I use my PC for FPS but outside of that consoles are better... unless you have a really good computer oblivion etc will look like crap.
Buy game, put game in console, enjoy
FPS are perfect for a mouse and keyboard... most third person games aren't... Splinter Cell is crap... I hate controlling the camera with a mouse and not having precise control over the characters walking... dual analouges are perfect for controlling the camera and movement in third person games.
The only third person game I enjoyed on my PC was San Andreas... and only because it controls like an FPS does on the PC.
Problem I have with USB controllers is that you either get a rip off PS2 controller... which I think is horrible... the analouge stick positioning is horrible or you get one where the company won't have put a fraction of the effort a company like MS or Nintendo do into developing a great controller.
You can use your Xbox controller on a PC... plug and play... but that gets back to my original arguement... you're only going to use it to play non FPS games... which are better on a console and all the ones worth playing make their way onto a console any way.
PCs are only worth the bother for FPS... and a good FPS only comes along every 1-2 years... since HL2 theres been nothing worth upgrading loads for.
Don't know about you lost... but personally I like console FPS... you're right WASD is better for them but I can play the likes of Prey and FEAR on an Xbox fine... I MIGHT even get the next HL2 episode and TF2 for it... hopefully there will be an Xbox live demo
