Wii internet channel

I was able to get on Youtube but when I tried to watch a video it told me that my browser wouldn't support it.

Has anyone found out how to enlarge the text yet?

Youtube is excellent, however I found it to be slow and not playing videos at first, but after I was visiting a few sites it seemed to speed up. The video quality too just depends on the video I suppose. Looks great when you zoom in too, its better than a little 24" monitor.

I also noticed that it only played certain video types. I couldn't load a single WMA file on it. Maybe they will fix this when the full version comes out.

It works great. Nothing like wathing youtube and Google Video on the big screen. I have encountered some problems though. It doesn't seem to be able to handle more than one window at a time. It spontaneously switched windows on me for some reason. It happened when I was watching something on Google Video. I could hear the audio but I was on a different page. It also completely froze my Wii. I couldn't turn it off even. Second time thats happened to me (once trying to connect to the shopping channel).

But yeah, it's still pretty awesome. I just hope the problems are fixed. And more support for things like Java would be nice.

That's another thing. Java doesn't work.

This is a trial version, so they'll probably fix it.

The full version will have an optional Adobe video viewer.
You'll have to pay for that though.

I just noticed something. I was looking here and found that if I press + at certain places, I can see better.. Odd.

Geez, I know that, and don't even have my Wii yet.

It's not that odd, + is the zoom button.

That may be, but he's talking about different zooms. You can zoom in on text, videos, and images differently. Don't spam the topic either.

Yea, because the text is way too small to read from afar, as V99 posted already.

When I press plus over a persons avater/location thing, and scroll over, I can see perfectly!

ZU works perfectly on the Wii. Infact, I just got a Wii this morning, and I'm using it to type this post! :p

For those like me wii surfing.Press '2'. You can see
text 3000X easier.

I don't advise veiwing pages like this though, just text.

Press 2 again to change it back.

It has been said that USB Connected keyboards on the Wii don't work properly.

Luckies. I'm gonna need to find out how to get internet connection on my Wii, I've been dying to get into the Wii shop channel... Mario 64 is much needed.
