System that makes the worst games

I think nintendo DS makes the worst games because most are little kid games and are not fun.(This probably will get closed up, but i'm just wondering.)

I doubt it will get closed up...don't worry.

I think its XBox/360. Those games either are mediocre or they are also available for the PC. That's how it is.

As far as DS goes, I'd have to disagree. Just becuase a game is "little kid" doesn't mean its bad Besides, there's:

Mario & Luigi Partners in time
New Super Mario Bros.
Mario Kart
Metroid Prime Hunters

and many more.

I don't think any of them make bad games. I've pretty much owned every major console since SNES and I've loved what they all had to offer.

As for consoles with the least games to interest me, the N64 wins that one. I think I have about 10 N64 games in total, compared to my 70+ PS1 games. And that's after looking through a list of every N64 game in existance, and forcing myself to buy a few games that didn't entirely interest me. After the SNES, this was probably the most disappointing system I've ever owned.

The Gamecube was a slight improvement, but it still failed to provide as many good games as the competition.

I dislike ps3 and 360 games, just because developers think that 'mature', fighting, and sports are the only popular genres. SHOW ME SOME COLOUR.

I was fairly dissappointed in my Xbox. I haven't found many titles worth playing on it.
Compared to the PS2 and Gamecube, the Xbox is Sub-par in the "Quality of Games" category. I own few Xbox games (the neccessities) while I own plenty of Gamecube and PS2 titles.
The Xbox was the best system of the last gen console-war, but for the most part, it had few good games.

You know, all game system has good and bad games. I play all system and came across some pretty terrible games, but also, games that were so great.

This is a worthwhile question because obviously the system itself dictates the quality of the software and not the developers making it.

Out of all the systems I own; I'd have to agree with Slime and say the Gamecube and/or the N64 has the smallest amount of games that actually interest me. Most of them are either geared toward kids or just plain bad. Hopefully Nintendo learned from their past mistakes and makes sure the Wii doesn't follow in its predecessor's footsteps.

Would you look at this. A self-confesseed Nintendo fanboy (me) is willing to admit that I was disappointed in the range of games for the GCN. Altough the games were slim pickings, the good ones they did have were absolutely awesome. I'm talking Pikmin, Super Smash Bros, Metroid etc. They're the only games I really play anymore.

GCN, the games weren't that great. For this system, they just weren't. There was alot of waisted potential in the GCN. On thing being of course the lack of 3rd party support. Which people can agree on made the library a bit unbalanced, along with having little-to-no online game(s). The games had a pretty high ratio of rated E games, that weren't even worth it.

Gamecube. Only worthwhile thing on there is WW, FSA, SSB, and Pikmin 1. I hope there is a Pikmin 3. I didn't enjoy anything else. It was rather boring.

That and Dreamcast. I only liked how the symbol in the beginning spun around to make it.

This a thread to bash consoles? Of course it is.

The system that had the worst game, is easily the CD-i.

I know the only worthwhile games were Resident Evil 4, and other decent 1st party titles. Everything else was f***ed.

But, for the previous generation, I'd have to say the Xbox. You can disagree with me all you want on this one, but the games, at least, in my view, weren't very good. It did have a few great games, like Halo or Halo 2, but, yeah. You know the rest.

Meh. Best not to try and defend GCN right now. Lol, I'd be the only one trying.

Hell, even Halo sucks. GoldeEye is better.

I'm really only saying GCN as a worst because it's not in great shape. But PS2 is.

There's really no good excuse for why GCN failed.

Are you kidding me? The PSP has been getting pretty good games lately. Like Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and alot of others. Sonic Rivals and stuff.

That's a lot of false people. DS has AWESOME games. And so does 360. How can someone call GOW mediocre.
It's definitley PSP. That system is just a hunk of painted crap with a shiny screen.

I forgot about the PSP. Never before has a console (forget about the CD-i, Yami, way to point out the obvious) delivered so poorly compared to its competition.

The console dictates:
A. Whether or not worthwhile developers want to work on the console
and
B. How well of a job these developers are able to do given the limitations of the system

The Wii. I'm sorry, but nintendo is just throwing the same mario zelda crap back at us. why not make new stuff for a change? and the controler is just a cheap gimik.
