Ps3???

Hey i was looking around gamespot for some info about a game and i found a pic that amazed me, this is a (suposed to be) pic of the PS3, i show it here so you can make your desicions about it, for me it looks very real (not like the nintendo nexus), so post your opinions...

It's a load of BS basically....

Peopel circulate phony pictures of future consoles and this is one of them. SOny won't be putting foward even protoype designs until E3 next year probably, considering at this point they have no ide ahow the parts will fit together. Thats what people forget, anyone can design a pretty console, but it takes much more to design a funtional one for the parts.

Looks, neat, though.... the shado whtat is supposed to look like a person is a nice touch A Chromed system, how nice.

It's fake. Obviously. Sony will reveal th pS3 at a big, highly hyped and amazing event. Like E3. It won't jsut gradually seep onto the internet.

Such a fancy design could not be the least bit durable. Sony has more sense than to make such a fragile-looking machine.

I'll admit that it's very well CG'd, however. It actually looks somewhat realistic. You can tell it's fake by a few things, like the background and reflections, but it's pretty nice nonetheless.

look at the apple ipod, thats a fancy design and it pretty durable. so durability is not always canceled out by looks.

It looks nice. It looks very nice. And i hope this is the final design. But as you say it probably will be a load of BS..because they would have to release it for the world to see. It does look very real aswell..

But probably fake..Shame

Well....the pic that was around of the psp also was told to be fake but it resulted to be the real psp....so i hope that happens the same with this pic of the PS3.

Actually the ps3 already exists. I know for sure that playlogic is working with the ps3 to develop for it, though it is prob not in its final form (the hardware is there, but not all fitted in that toaster shown up there). But hey, it's all topsecret

PS3? *sigh* I still want a PS2....

IBM hasn't even finished developing the 'Cell' processor that will be used in the PS3, that means there are no systems in existance. Odds are developement kits haven't even been sent out yet, and probably not even until the end of this year will they be.

Basically, none exist. I'd like to see how you know....

well they did sya it would be portable.i think thats pretty much what it looks like.

That would be the PSP that is going to be portable... not the PS3.... Companies tend to try and not make products that would compete with eachother in the marketplace....

Wrong, they always make hollow prototypes designs and then materialize it. So that would have been a real Ps3(none functional of course) but it's not.

That is not what Im talking about. I'm sure there we're 50 designs at least floating around Sony. But none of them had GAME SYSTEMS in them. Nothing htey have now has a nearly finished SYSTEM. I don't doubt that they have a few empty heartless shells around, but none are finalized yet, and none have working parts. SO i was right with what i said... i'll be damned....

I've heard a ton of stuff about this ps3 and hope they never come out with it. I love my ps2 and have spent about 4 hundred dollars on it. *starts to sob*. But it does seem like bs. *smiles and is happy*

Hehe, samichen. My friend who just got PS2 a year ago says the same thing. He won't get PS3 because it is too soon, he says. Too soon for him, not for everybody. I mean, the console did come out in 1999 or 2000... right?

It looks good. The name Playstation 3. C'Mon. I cant believe the cant think of a better name. And two controller slots. But the console im sure will be great.
