Does anyone here have an Original Game Boy?

I do. Does anyone else?

I just finished having dinner with Michael Moore, and boy am I stuffed! anyway... I have one, but I never use it and it is real big so it feels awkward playing it so I mostly have it for show.

Does Game Boy pocket count? I never use it, but still <_<

I always thought that the Micro and Pocket were different... I mean, the micro came out like... this year? The pocket came out like... Years ago.

Anyway, yes. I do have an original gameboy. Three of them to be exact.

No they don't, the game boy micro is a totally different thing which was brought out years after the game boy pocket. I had a game boy pocket. it was yellow.

Nooo, they came out before the Gameboy Color as a smaller version of the original.

I had a yellow pocket too!! That's cool. I don't play it anymore, but I still have it. I've also got a red original, but don't have the intense batteries to play it

Yeah I still got my original Gameboy, somewhere, along with Link's Awakening, Mario land 1 and 2, Wario land and Donkey Kong.

I do too. It doesn't work anymore, but I have it.

For those of you too young to understand; that image above is the original Gameboy, the Gameboy (Monochrome).
It was larger, and near-on twice the width of the original DS, to give you an idea.

Think of a very, very fuzzy NES, with no colour.

Ha ha. My aunt had one of those. I don't know what happened to it though. The oldest Gameboy I have is a pocket, but it doesn't work anymore.

I also have one. Compared to the new gameboys it feel really strange in your hands. I dont use mine today, but I used to.

I used one up until GBA came out. I was never much of a portable gamer before that, as all I really played were Link's Awakening, the Dragon Quest I+II port, and all the mis-named Final Fantasy games. I remember going on a year-end school trip in 2001 or so and bringing it along. I got made fun of while my friends were playing Advanced Wars. = \

My brother had one. But I didn't play it much and it wasn't very long before we got a Gameboy Colour, and that one I played a lot more.

I do, my very first gameboy, got it shortly before the newer GB came out. The images on it now are really faded too. In fact I just played a year and a half ago. When all my friends got new DSs me and another friend went old school on them with our oldies.

I have one. It's my sister's though. I was way too young when they actually came out. I did get a Gameboy Colour when my brother got one though, and I have that too. Then, I got a Gameboy Advance. Then recently, I got a special Edition Minish Cap SP, and a year later a DS. And now, a few months ago I got a black DS Lite... oh, and about a year ago I got a Micro. Waste of Money.

Nice, this thread made me check that knick-knack drawer in my house (come one, everyone has one ) and dig out my old, old, old Gameboy.

The screen covering comes right off, the top corner is chewed (?) and the power slider sticks. But it still works! I had a little shot of Super Return of the Jedi.
