Personal music while playing Wii?

Still, I really like to think that this will become more common with Wii games, especially the third-party titles. I was always wanted to see it done with a Nintendo console after the last gen systems did it, so this interests me quite a lot. I'd love to use it with other multiplayers like Red Steel or even, yes, Brawl.

It's an interesting feature; but I can make do without. I prefer playing with the music the game intended to use. Music is one of the key aspects in most genres of games (i.e. RPG's, Adventure, FPS, and action games). I suppose this feature might come in handy for those games where the music is sheer awful.

That feature makes me want Excite Truck really bad, now. I wanted it slightly before, because it was like a Nintendo Burnout, and I LOVE Burnout. I'm sold on this game. More games better get this feature!

I think I would like it on games with open sandbox style such as gta. For example in spider-man 2, ultimate spider-man and hulk ultimate destruction the music only kicks in when an event is happening. It makes what would other wise enjoyable time being an idiot just going around doing stupid things in the game world a little boring. I would also like to see it in fighting games to see how it influences my playing style and other racing games. Mirren's suggestion about using the feature for multiplayer games is an interesting idea.

It's sweet stuff. I've done it before with some of my PC games(some easy maniuplation of your directory files) and it's a nice feature when you're sick of the in-game music.

I sometimes mute my TV or DS and listen to techno.

This could be real good if you wanna play some intense music during a real hard boss fight to get you in the mood and your blood pumping, heart racing, and get started.

That, and some game music sucks, as state before.

If this isn't available for Super Smash Brothers I'm going to be sad.

Nice article. A good solution to what Microsoft have done, with the Windows Media Connect, because not everyone has wireless and a PC to hook up to.

But aye, multiplayer with your own tunes could be brilliant, Brawl over the internet to custom music.... I like.
