Re: Time spent on games

Lately, I don't seem to have much time..but If I find time SOMEHOW...I'll sneak about 3 to 4 hours in. Back when I was 14 or 15, during the summer, I'd find myself playing from the time I awoke until the time I got too sleepy to play any longer. XD

Re: Time spent on games

wow, only an hour? thats a shame....I can pretty much play as long as I want to. If I have to work its my own responsability, my parents let it be my choice. So on a good game day i usually play about when i wake to when when I sleep if its a new game(RE4 I played 16 hours straight), if I'm doing it when just for when I've had it for a while but haven't beaten it, about 3 hours. when its old and I'm just bored about an hour give or take. and it may seem like it, but I do more than just video games..

Re: Time spent on games

Well, I first started to really get into gaming around 1998, and back then I used to get about five hours in as much as I could, or even ten or more on a really lazy videogame-playing weekend. I actually remember playing through the entirety of disc 2 of Final Fantasy VII once. Such is the life of an RPG fanatic, I suppose.

The past few years, however, my game-playing time has dwindled. Sometimes I'll be lucky if I even sit down to play a game for two hours, and that's maybe three times a week. I have other things to do.

Since Final Fantasy XII came out last week, though, I've become a couch potato again. And I probably will be for a while since I intend to spend about 100+ hours on this beauty.

Re: Time spent on games

Whenever I have spare time.
Considering I don't go to school and I only work two times a week, I have quite a lot of spare time.

mostly i don't have time to play games no more, but once a good game comes out, (zelda, metroid, FF.) i'll just make time and play for 8 to 10 hours straight.

Re: Time spent on games

For me it's when I have the time. I can usually put in 1-3 hours. Playing TP for the first time will change that!

You know, this gets me thinking. (uh oh!) How many hours have I spent played games in my whole life? I'm thinking 1,000 would be a good guess, but then again, it could very well be 2,000 or 3,000.

(LinkZeldaGanon: One more post til you hit 1000!)

I'm on the computer more than my game systems. But, when it gets to the holidays, I'll probably play them a lot more. At the moment, my Gamecube is hooked up to our main television so unless I can bother to hook it up to one of the other TVs, I can't play that much. N64 is hooked up to one TV that I use, basically only for gaming, PS2 hooked up to a TV used sometimes for watching, NES is half hooked up to the N64 TV I think.

Plus, my DS is just over there.

These holidays will be fun. :3

Re: Time spent on games

Don't have time for games much at the moment - my workload is far too demanding... I'm waiting for the Wii primarily before I pick them up again, although i'm sure i'll grab FFXII when it reaches the UK.

Re: Time spent on games

I usually spend one to two hours playing video games, once I've completed my chores and whatnot, on the weekdays. But I so often forget about my Gamecube, 64, and the assorted games I own that those one to two hours are often diffused amid months of inactivity, and then, the lucid flash, "Why, I feel up to playing Super Mario Sunshine today!"

Of course, when I have TP (which I mean to have...), this will in probability change. Two to five hours, every weekday, until that time when my playing is no longer restricted by school.

I usually play for about 2-3 hours a day. I'd like to play more, but can't...

Re: Time spent on games

I've got perioids, when I play like 5 (or more) hours a day, (mostly on vacations, though..)
And then I have perioids when I don't play at all. It can go couple months, and I don't play. Then suddenly, I start playing again and do it all day.

It depends if I have a new game, or if I just play my old games.

Re: Time spent on games

when i got OOT i played that for most of everyday over the christmas holidays until i completed it. but these days games dont hold as much interest for me as they used to, usually only for 2 or 3 hours at a time. i still buy quite a few games but most dont hold my attention long enough to complete them. i dont know whether that says something about the general quality of games or whether its just cause im older now. probably a bit of both though

Re: Time spent on games

Not as much as I would like. I tend to have a lot of spart time, yet, I am messing around on the internet instead of beating games I need to beat...
