*Sighs* This has been a copy/paste moment.

One game I was looking at was Star Fox Command, because I absolutly love Sci-fi spaceship flight type things, and this looks like a good game to start with. So would that be a good choice?
Yeah..

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

Star Fox Assault is good. Whats Star Fox Command?

James Bond games usually have boats, plans, cars, etc. I think they are rated T.

I don't think a DS will have what you want, Star Fox games and James Bond games would have those.

I just said Star Fox command because out of them all, Spaceships is my favorite type of transportation. I'll look into your recomendations though, thank you.

Then go for Star Wars Rogue Squadron Series, intense Space Dogfights and excellant missions there, And it's got Excellent replay value with a number of unlocks and there are codes for lazy people. Plus in Rebel Strike you get to see Darth vader dance Disco!

I need a new DS game... I have Animal Crossing WW and Metroid Prime Hunters, and I want to get another one... I've been thinking of Star Fox Command, but what do other people think? I want a game that will last me more than a month, and that has Wi-fi connection.Ťa

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

Ahh, I see.

I really wouldn't reccomend a DS for those types of things. Gamecube, while it doesn't have "ZOMGKICKA$$GRAPHICSROFL" graphics, it will be better than a DS. I know Command there are a good amount of missions where you must fight in your Arwing, multiplayer also has Arwings in it. As soon as you begin, you are in space.

I hope you find a good game, and your welcome.

*shoots self* how the hell did I forget Star Wars? Yeah, Star Wars is magnificent for Space Ship fights and all, like Z said.

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

Yeah, I know about SW, I have Battlefront 2. I only have 2 games on my DS, so that's why I want others... On Gamecube, I don't have Assault, but I beat it in three days.

Are there any other good DS games or Gamecube games (ones that are already out)?

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

Battlefront 2 is majorly obsolete when it comes to Dogfights with the Rogue Squadron Series focuses souly on In space and planetary dogfights and missions, all in the air in number 2 and there are some lame ground missions in 3 but they are still fun. Number 1 is on N64 and 2 (Rogue Leader) and 3 (Rebel Strike) on the GCN, 2 and 3 are really, really good games.

These games are ones that you want in your collection.

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

If you don't already own Mario Kart DS than you're missing out. It's easily one of the, if not the, best game for the DS thus far. It's one of those games you can just pick up and play anytime, I love it. Seriously, go out and buy this game as soon as possible. If you're a fan of the series, you'll love MKDS just as much as the rest. Plus, if you have access to a wireless router you can play online. 'Tis a lot of fun (even though the online play is somewhat limited)

If you're looking for something a little more "out there" then I'd recommend Trauma Center. I finally got the oppurtunity to play this game about a month ago, and I was very impressed to say the least. Other than that I'd say wait for FFIII. That is, of course, if you're a fan.

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

Alright, well heres the deal.

I'm thinking about getting a Valkyrie Profile game, but I have no idea which one is which.

I know the one for PS1 is a rare one, but how are the others ( and how many are there ) in comparison?

Right now the one I can get is... VP: Lenneth, for the PSP. Is this the same game that came for the PS1, or is this something totally different?

Thanks in advance.

(Mr. Wonderful could be able to answer this, I'm assuming his a big fan of the seres, and I think Sizz might to. )

What game should I buy?

Well, I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment. There are so many great games out there that I want, but I can't get them all right now. So, I must choose one. Anyhow, I'm having a hard time deciding. What do you think I should get? Here are some of the games I have my eye on.

PS2

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance - This is made by the same people that made X-men: Legends I and II, which was an RPG. I loved both of those games. This time, you take control of many of the characters from the Marvel comic universe, (such as Captain America, Thor, Iron Man) and go up against villains (such as Galactus and Doctor Doom).

Bully - This is supposed to be a lot like GTA.

Okami - All I really know about it is that you play as a wolf, who is a god. I keep hearing great things about it and would like to give it a try.

Gamecube

Metroid Prime - I have never played this game, despite owning a Gamecube. I have never really been into first person shooters, but I hear that this game is different from all of the others. I really like Super Metroid, so I'm wondering if I should give it a chance. That and since we are seeing the last days of the Gamecube, I would like to add some more games to my Gamecube library.

Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure - I'm a fan of ALTTP, and this game is very similar to it. It's got Ganon, Vaati, and Dark Link all in one game.

Note: I did not add Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to the list because I am getting it no matter what. Your input is appreciated.

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

Well I would get Okami if I still had the PS2. I plan on getting marvel sometime for the Wii. Metroid, never played it so you may like it. LOZ:FSA, I might get it if I were you.

FSA had some good parts. But the Multiplayed required GBA's and the connecting cables. You couldn't play multiplayed with one GBA and a regular controller, you needed 2 GBA's. And their cables.

So It all depends on what you need to put up with.

You are correct. Lenneth is a port of the first game.

You're in the same situation I was in before trying Prime. I had never gotten into a first person shooter before, but I liked the 2D Metroids.

Metroid Prime is actually really fun. The controls aren't overly hard to get used to unless you've never played a Gamecube in your life. It provides a good challenge, and it keeps your interest the whole way through. Using my game difficulty criteria, it is of a satisfactory difficulty. I died a couple times on normal mode, and there's a hard mode for people who want a bit more challenge.

Go buy it. It's ridiculously cheap used.

Re: Game Recommendations V.2

A great game that's not related to Zelda, difficult question. :-O!!
I suppose the Starfox Series are good, I've got them all, except for Starwing.
I don't know if you'd have a N64 in your room. And if you might knew a store where they still sell N64 games. Then I recommend Lylat Wars. It's easy to beat, it takes an hour or even less. But it's different from other games. When you've beaten it once, you're not yet tired of the game because you've completed it. If you're interested, search on google for a review from Lylat Wars. Read it. Make a conclusion. Note: when there isn't a store that sells N64 anymore, you still have the internet.
