Didn't get a Wii preordered! Help!

Since I was never able to get to EB before they ended the pre-orders, I'm just going to wait until Toys R Us starts them. I've had very good experiences with them in the past for reserving games and consoles, so I should be good. There's no info yet about it, but I signed up for their email notices just yesterday, as soon as I learn more, I'll try to post around here as soon as possible.

Well, see, I think I have this whole thing figured out...

The 29th is a Sunday, which means, Church Day. Most people that will go to Toys R Us will probably be the young'ns, and that will leave plenty of them stuck at Mass during the morning against their will. Now, for me, my family's going to Church on Saturday that weekend for some special ceremony, which means I'll just get up with early with mom Sunday morning and head out to the local store to reserve mine.

Stupid Canadian Toys 'R' Us ending their pre-orders weeks ago...

Ehh, you should consider yourself lucky, here in the UK, we have to wait until the 8th of December until we can get our hands on the Wii.

Oh crap. My dad called EB today. They said that they would be selling Wiis and games a few days after the preorders are done. That means, that it's on a school day.

Oh poop. With a dad at work and a mom that can't drive, I'm screwed.

I'm gonna go to a walmart, and get my dad(he owes me) to go to a bestbuy, and well wait for about 3 hours. and buy a wii, we can contact eachother by cell phone.

I have the same problem see i have gamecube bucks of $2.12 and all Wii's are sold or preordered online and at the tores there out so now im screwed. does anyone know when there next shipment is coming in?

I called my TRU a few days ago about the Wii Pre-order on the 29th, and they said that their HQ cut them off with pre-orders in April!~ Talk about being late for something! hahah
