Metroid Prime Hunters

I recently got a copy of Metroid Prime Hunters, and quickly got addicted to the multiplayer. My question is this: what is your favorite character to play as? Personaly, I like Sylux, because he's got the weapon that drains opponents health. His morph ball form is also really cool.

I would say Trace, but I've come to hate him because he's overpowered and annoying online, so Sylux it is! Fun, balanced and I'm good as him!

I've got to go with Sylux in his Lockjaw formation he can really whup ass with his cool electricity trip-wire bombs! I think Trace is crap because he has REALLY low health...
So Sylux has my vote!

It depends what mood I'm in. Right now, Sylux is my favorite. I've just found out that his alt form can allow you to take out an enemy with one hit. In fact, I've killed three enemies in one hit with it with random placement of trip wires. Now, if I'm in the mood to be a relentless killer, then I'll use Trace. I've gotten quite good at sniping, especially at Alinos Gateway. If I'm in the mood to use brute force, however, then I'll use Spire. His alt form allows you to climb on walls, he's impervious to lava, and a charged Magmaul blast will burn your enemy and inflict heavy damage. However, Sylux is the best. His alt form has impressive speed and a useful attack. Now, if I'm playing Nodes, then I'll usually use Weavel. His alt form can protect a node very well while you're going off to capture more.

Don't make me name the ways that Sylux is unbalanced and overpowered.

I played the game with single card download play and cramped the love out of my hand trying to shoot rapid fire.

I'll do it. His alt form has unmatched speed, his alt form has capabilities of one-hit kills, his Affinity weapon steals health from his opponents, and the Shock Coil can kill an enemy very quickly if you can keep the beam on them. And those are the reasons why he's my favorite Hunter.

You weren't very detailed.

His alt form goes as fast, if not faster, than Samus' morph ball.... boosted. His "short range" weapon can reach just about half way across the map Combat Hall. He can "fly" in low gravity areas. It's very hard to get headshots on him for some reason. His alt form can one hit kill somebody, which is easily pulled off with it's speed. His weapon gives him health, allowing him to recharge it fully within ten seconds, more likely less. The ammo used when he uses his weapon drains quite slowly.

I like trace personally. I would really like to face someone in a match, so pm me for that. I like trace b/c he can turn "invisible". Not only that, his affinety(sp?) weapon is the imperialist, so tahts good too. I have taken a real liking to him. I also like noxus, b/c of him being able to freeze people, and then getting a headshot (if you know how).

Sylux FTW. I love annoying people by standing behind them stealing their health. Trace is also good in small areas. Go his alt-form and turn ivisible whilst facing a doorway, and as soon as someone comes out: BAM! Then run away like a pansy.

Sylux for his Shock coil, and you cant forget that his Alt. Form can fly around in low gravity levels.

Trace is fun to get headshots with, plus if you know what you are doing you can hide inareas where noone will ever find you

Are there any ways to drop out of a wifi battle without freezing my opponents' DS's?
PS: I'm a noob to online games, what is the difference between putting someone on your friends and your rivals list?

I go for trace since his snipe power is 2x more powerful than any other hunter and he has the invisibility mode. Also his alternate form attack is very powerful.

With your friends list you can chat with them by putting thier friend code in. You can voice chat over the mic, for more details go to the IGN forum boards on chatting and there is also a friend code thread.

to put it simply, trace's zoomed in headshot will kill any opponent no matter their health, spires alt form only does a like 113 damage (not ohko but if you get someone the moment they spawn...)

I like Spire. It's fun to climb up walls in his alt form. And hot stuff doesen't hurt him( He's really useful in Alinos gateway) And I think he's cuteish lol
